  • a really sad thing to happen. Hopefully it will be stopped today.

  • The videos I have to watch for school just get worse and worse.

  • Who know whats the backtrack?

  • This was stupid, boring, and a waste of 7 minutes of my life

  • Whats the piano song in the back?

  • It sounds like the output of a text-to-speech software. I don't mean it negative^^

  • 4:36 minutes in, wasnt that a picture of an officer in the army leading a prisoner around??? it was in the headlines

  • @5n0wflake

That was at Abu Gharib (sp?) ...nothing to do with Child Labor.

Good video...but the narrator's robotic voice is kinda disturbing.

  • maybe this will help. search....The Decline And Fall Of The Human Race.

  • my prof praises this video.

  • There are no differences from the children of today who are working in factories of developing countries.

  • Great stuff dude

    *cite*

  • And most the children grew up to be productive citizens. Don't meddle in other counties business.

  • blah blah, too political.

  • hey man great creation. im doing a project myself that studies the industrial revolution. and i was wondering if i could use your video in my powerpoint presentation. can you reply as soon as possible? thank you for your time.

  • "The industrial revolution stripped away many of the functions from the traditional family. Education went to the schools, care of the elderly went to the state, work was tranfrerred to the factory, and so forth...The family did not disappear after the industrial revolution. But if became smaller, took on more limited responsibilty, and lost much of its power vis-a-vis other institutions in society." -- Alvin Toffler

  • Just a heads up: many of these photos come from the United States during the 1920s and 1930s. The industrial revolution began well before the advent of affordable photography, and hence much of it can only be seen in British art.

  • 1:40 secs wow thats my grandpa there !!!!NOT!!! i cant believe no one notice that part was done by movie maker

  • This is VERY well done! What grade/year are you in?

I would've loved to have heard a real voice narrate instead of computerized one. Still, great job!

  • "Civilization has run on ahead of the soul of man, and is producing faster than he can think and give thanks." -- GK Chesterton

  • Ok! I thought Industrial Revolution finished long time ago and there is no more CHILD LABOUR anymore???!!!! The question is, why I can see and hear still about IT all around the World. It seems nothing has been done on that issue by the affected GOVERNMENTS like Pakistan, India etc.... probably you know yourself. Basically this situation does exist in the deprived Countries, allowing CHILDREN TO BE EXPLOITED BY MULTINATIONAL COMPANIES!

WHERE ARE THE HUMAN RIGHTS ACTIVISTS ON THAT SUBJECT?????

  • They're here. They just get drowned out.

    You're not alone, though.

  • Good show, but I don't think the computerized voice style will make it watchable for my garde 9s

  • Wow that is really well done! I have a midterm tomorrow in history on the industrial revolution and this helped me a lot!

  • this is so weird...i have to do a project on this too, but I'm not going to steal your work. Nice job

  • can you send me this too for my project....the video

  • hey can u please send me this its for a school project, i mainly need the pictures

  • what program did you use

  • ...Mah...
