Great video! Thanks for posting. I have a ton of respect for the Detroit FD, they do so much with so little. I also give them credit for staying out of the vacants until completely knocked down, a firefighter's life is not worth it.

The first Engine arrives, dumps a hose bundle of 1 1/2" at the curb in front of the fire with a gated "Y", then stretches 2 1/2" hose to the hydrant where the pump connects. This leaves room in front of the dwelling for the Ladder to arrive and set up in front.

Not every call is done this way, but most are.
