Pffft....Marines are among the most pathetic to call themselves special forces i've seen to date. Try the Commonwealth SAS branches along with maybe the CDT's or the Spetznaz...now those are real warriors. Sure, they might not have 5000 movies promoting them like the USMC does, but they have the highest success rates and lowest casualty rates in the world. Marines just throw themselves in front of gunfire in the most unprofessional and careless way imaginable.

I saved the crew of an entire US navy ship by disabling an 88 under heavy fire, winning a Victoria Cross for my efforts. if you have 12 or more college credits you will go in as a pfc that's and extra 200 a month and like 6 months ahead of everyone else plus if you have a 4yr degree you can go to officer school instead
