Has anyone seen the CNN video with the door opening behind the oil well? I don't believe for a second there is a cap in place. There is so much oil in the gulf now, no one can be the wiser.I believe they are preparing for the nuclear option. I just hope for the best for all of our sake.

I do not think anyone could have wished for a mess like this. But certainly some powers could have wished for BP to suffer. It was uncanny that as the Lybian aid ship headed for Gaza, that US Senators campaigned against BP's Libyan connections.

At this moment I think they are probably putting a big explosive device down the well. From what I have learned this so-called pressure test makes no sense.

@108morris108 Somewhere you said, we sense we don´t know the real story. They are masters of spin & have a history of pointing the crowd, us, in the wrong direction. Maybe that well isn´t even the Nr1 story, but some volcano is, 20 miles away, I don´t know. Pressure tests could perhaps make sense if they are really trying to find the leaks in the casing, to place relief wells below where they had located the leaks to relieve the pressure, to then seal the compromised well with "mud" and cement ?

What blows a hole in most conspiracy theories, is the "fact" that BP used inferior cementing and had a weak casing from early on - before the explosion. So I am left to wonder if indeed this is true. Unfortunately any evidence produced cannot be believed, anymore than Iraq's WMDs.

But with such a mess that we have now, a cover up is in many people's interest.

I do believe that BP is trying to minimize the exposure to wart off lawsuits that are coming from those who are there cleaning up without respirators. I think they are controlling the exposure of sensationalist reporting, that would scare people or cause a panic out of ignorance. And because of the toxic nature of the oil and dispersant, they are not allowing more jackasses into the burning building to film the dead and dieing.

People need to step back and look at this from what we are seeing reported by the news and by independent film makers. There is the camera on the well head, that hasn't been shut off, so we see the oil spilling out 24/7. We do see the dieing fish and birds, oil on the beaches and even some of the skimmers and this new vacuum ship. We have reports of health hazards, film of the plumbs. I suspect there are cracks in the bedrock but seriously doubt a gas bubble.

@kolkrabe19 The bedrock is miles and miles thick. Cracks would be from natural causes, not man made. Earthquakes, volcanic activity. The majority of the drilling is near the coast line, not out where the spill is and the movements in the bedrock. As far as I've been able to find out, there are only a couple of wells out that far.

@kolkrabe19 the footage is of a oil leak yes but which one? and the video is a loop too, they think because its a long loop that someone wouldn't record it and run it through a program to find the loop LMAO the video is little over 6 hours shot from different angles and they change the videos themselves from time to time. as for mercy, only GOD have mercy NOT man. Is that how you see it ? If the casing is gone then you wouldn´t expect oil gushing out of the BOP.

@kolkrabe19 ok where do i start? first off they didnt have a proper cement job as they have confirmed, that means there is not a good foundation to hold any valve in place even if they get a strong enough valve. next, the oil coming up is so violent that it have thinning the 6" thick pipe ti less than 2" in just a few days.so now you have a open well with just a thin cement casing is any at all.there is no way to cap it,there is nothing strong for the cap to lock on to.cap story is just to buy t

@kolkrabe19 This spill was unique because of the depth of the well, the pressure of the oil coming from the well head, and the available equipment to deal with it. It has taken time to invent and manufacture a device that would work. The present cap is more than just a cap, it will monitor the sea floor and pressure of the oil within the well bore. If you think about it, all of this happened pretty darn fast.

BP has been buying time from Day 1. It´s possible this was sabotage & it´s possible they created more of a mess than they had envisioned, & now they are clueless. The ugly truth is that there´s no casing left in the well bore, which means relief wells & new cap are only smokescreens b/c they have no chance of working. I suspect they know that the nuclear option is the only one that might really seal it BUT............ the red oil is from deep down there in the crust, unlimited reservoir of oil.
