  • awesome! i always want to do that!

did you use bones or CAT for the rig?

  • @Argarsad Thanks! I used CAT for the rig. :)

  • Great model, marvellous texture! (Yours? Do you sell it?)

Also some very good secondary animations!

If you still want feedback: Try keeping the head more at one height, it bobs too much up and down.

Also, the forward motion appears to come out of the ankles, which would be unrealistic. Do the feet slow before toughdown? Looks a bit like tiptoeing. - When I walked around a bit acting a T rex, I found my leg goes forward, but solely, and the body only follows very close before foot tochdown.

  • @toggle1234 Thanks for the feedback. The model was bought from turbosquid and I modified it and used subsurface scattering for the skin. I use 3DS max's CAT system for the walk cycle and at the minute i've reached a point where the animation gets worse if I tweak it. lol

  • awesome texture and rig for the rex!!! I hope I can rig as good as you! XD

  • @TaraArtsMovie Thanks, it's taken some time and tweaking. lol

  • Hi Dino :D aww i love your videos ^^

  • @chloelenne Thanks

  • the model and render are nice, the jiggle too,but it still walks like a robot,it has no feel of weight, i sugest you watch some elefant documentary or video here on youtube, and see how his body mass move, ostrich as well since they are closer to biped. keep up the good work.

  • @bladerj Thanks for the feedback, i'll keep practising. :)

  • Awesome

  • Nice :D

Now make the ground shake and crack so it looks even more realistic ^.^

    Keep it up ;)

  • @pokedude6712 Haha, next thing you know i'll have remade 2012!

  • Awesome, man !

  • @Tastypictures Thanks!

  • Nice! It's come a long way since my first tests. You can look at my channel to see my tests from long ago.

  • @RPMiller1 Thanks, I checked out your tests, did you ever continue them?

  • @derkoi Unfortunately, no. At the time I created those, I just didn't have the computing power and storage to be able to handle more complex and longer renders. But as luck would have it, I'm currently building a new rig. This new one will have 24 gigs of memory and a couple terabytes of storage, so I'm hoping to get back into doing more animation.

  • ooh, looks really good, "jiggle" works well :)

  • @Saminatorger Thanks, i'm really happy with the whole thing now.
