I checked them out on Amazon after I heard that song and read up on them some. I listened to some samples and I really liked them. I am a renegade child of the 70's and disco was not my thing-Led Zep-Aerosmith-Ozzy-the louder the better. I am now in the 50 something range and I am still that way.
I hope you and yours are doing okay. Spikey was a special boy with a special family in his life. This tribute video was one that made my cry and smile at the same time, and that is a good thing!
What a wonderful way to remember Spike. I am a follower on FBRN and I remember seeing him on the available page. I am glad he came to live with you folks. I cannot imagine my home without my Boston and my Frenchie, and my heart goes out to you. I would also like to thank you for turning me on to a new artist. I had never heard of the group or heard the song, and I think it was a perfect choice. Take care..
@pameliasue58 Bl;ack Label Society is not USUALLY that mellow. Their album "Hangover Music" is a bit more low key, they cover Procol Harem's "Whiter Shade of Pale", but typically are pretty loud. "In this River" was written as a tribute to "Dimebag" Darryl Abbott of Pantera, after he was killed on stage by a psychotic fan of the band.
Thank you for watching and getting a little look at who Spikey was. Knowing he is touching people after his passing makes me smile.
this definitely brought tears to my eyes, what a beautiful little guy. I couldn't imagine ever losing my frenchie, he's our baby...my heart goes out to you and your wife.<3
Spike will forever own a big piece of my heart. He was my friend, cuddle buddy, road dogg, partner in crime, and such a love. He liked to help me prepare dinner and especially liked making popcorn with me. He was the official tester of all things yummy in our kitchen (with exception of things that digs don't eat for obvious health reasons), he was even buddies with our cat, Salem. He brought so much love, joy and life to our world that the impact of his leaving us is huge.
Thank you for sharing this beautiful tribute of Spike and the wonderful life you shared together. It brought tears to my eyes. What a special dog and amazing bond you shared. Rebecca (FBRN Volunteer)
