SGs usually sound too dark/muddy for me, but this one sounds perfect, has the right amount of clarity. and nothing more beautiful than a vintage white SG (looks more like tv yellow tho). can we work out a layaway plan Greg? :D
Great. I always liked the SG's owned several eventually the neck heaviness bothered me too much on gigs. The '61 reissues are good, but variable in quality. When you find a good one though, it's really fine.
@CMSpida The neck on an SG just feels a little heavier since the body is so light. I have a faded cherry special and they are a great feeling, great sounding, great playing guitar.
SG= Greatest Guitar ever made. I will be an SG man for life!!!!! I've had many guitars over the years and I always go back to the SG. Great guitar.

I like SGs but it's very difficult to find a sweet sounding one. This is just perfect. It just needs to age a little bit.

Hello Greg!
What kind of pick do you use? What is the thickness?
Forgive my curiosity.
Best Regards

@oxidindigo Actually, this IS tv yellow - rare colour for an SG, but that's what custom shops are for, aren't they?
