The only threat i saw is the human technology like cars, computers, plastics , air condition etc. The world needed it due to supply and demand chart. the 'environmentally friendly' fuels arn't good for the environment at all. To get the oil, the last remainin habitat for native animals is bein destroyed, the soil that used to have forests on it is bein turned over and thus releasein emmisions, rivers & waterways are bein polluted & salinity levels are rising. The fuel consumption goes up by 30%. More co2 would have been saved by the forests that have been destroyed then what would hav been saved usin this fuel instead of the normal fuel.

Food-wise, the alternatives to palm oil are not any greener. Butter causes the suffering of billions of cows who are strapped to milking machines all day. Lard comes from pigs who spend their whole lives in cages so small they can't turn around. Animal products cause far more environmental damage, because growing food for livestock takes even more land, and thus causes even more deforestation.

The #1 priority should be to stop the use of palm oil as biofuel.

Palm oil is EVERYWHERE in processed foods in our supermarkets, so it means basically that we eat the rainforests everyday, and we seat for our breakfast on chairs made on the extincted Tiger's kingdom trees.
