I lost my father 5 years ago on dec. 7th, Our relationship was bad until I turned about 33. I spoke to him everyday after that until he died. The loss softens alittle over the years but there is always will be a emptiness that cant be replaced. I love you dad.

Just saw him here in Kuwait tonight. Just a few hours ago. I heard this song, and it made me think of my wife so, so much. I sat there in the middle of the desert, in the middle of a show, and cried because I miss her so much. Amazing song.

i miss my best friend. she's not acting like herself anymore. she's got a stupid live in boyfriend, which she doesn't even known him all that well. she's just living with him because her exhubby is living with his girlfriend. this guy of her refuses to get a job. he's just a dead beat lay about making her pay for everything and buy HIS beer.
i really miss her. we use to have so much fun talking and texting each other. now i barely get her to text me back at all. she's changed...and for the worst

@countrystrata NA..not enough kinetic force..try making the other dude look bad,alter her perception of him..dont run him down cause thats counter productive cause she cares about him,but neutrally bring up certain bad points about him...plant some seed of doubt. and then every now and then. give them something to feed on.soon they will take root and grow .

@KeithWasHere1 i've tired but i'm not good at that kind of thing. she's just with him because her exhubby is with a girlfriend. once she gets something in her head it's hard to changer her mind. and she doesn't care about him like that or i don't believe she does because she doesn't really know him and she always had a habit of jumping into relationships. relationship are hard but she acts like its easy. i dont understand her views on relationships at all.

@countrystrata wow,sounds like shes gonna be a tough nut to crack.the thing three primary things in a chick's mind are how they feel,how they look,and how others perceive them..if you can get it into her head that this guy is affecting any or all three of those precepts negatively..then her wheels will start turning.takes some physiological maneuvering but it can be done.

To all of you that have lost a friend, lover, spouse, children, etc. my heart goes out to you, especially those that have lost children, no matter the age. I've never lost anyone close to me, I am still blessed with my parents, siblings and 2 wonderful kids, I pray to God he takes me before my kids, I can NOT imagine life without them. Thanks for sharing the stories, it makes me appreciate who I have in my life even more...

My wife passed away at age 26 after a 2 year battle with non-smokign lung cancer. She fought so hard to be there for her baby. He was three when we lost his mom. This song gets me every time I listen to it, yet I listen to it because it remind sme of how much love, respect and honor I have for my friend, wife, love. Thank you for cutting such a powerful song that defines everyone who has ever gone through this situation.

I lost my wife due to stage 4 cancer this year on March 1st, I miss her so much we have 2 little girls that are 2 & 5yrs old, everyday I can see there mommy / my wife in there eyes and smile.. I miss her so much, I just wish that there was more that I could have done, its just not fair to lose someone that was only 29yrs old just not fair ... :(

My father is a drug addict who thinks he's super-dad. My grandfather was my father-figure. We were best friends when I was little, I was the baby of the family. We played games, shared secrets and he was my world growing up. He passed away March 21st, 2005 from 12 cancerous brain tumors when radiation caused water to pool around his heart, making it give out. My world came crashing down that day... I miss my friend.. this song makes me think of my bf, he's addicted to a hard core drug and it seems the him I first feel in love with 5 years ago, my best friend, only comes out when he's gotten his fix. it's hard to know if it's truly him or the drugs. everyone says i need to walk away but it's hard when you love someone so much, too much, that ppl dont understand why you can turn a blind eye to the things he does just because you love him and know somewhere in his heart he still loves you.
