No, my friend. The teachings of the Bible are the moral outline for SOCIETY, not just Christians. Atheists do not read the Bible and follow it, and if they do follow it they don't do it because of God. No, my friend. The teachings of the Bible are the moral outline for SOCIETY, not just Christians. Atheists do not read the Bible and follow it, and if they do follow it they don't do it because of God. But, they do(or dont) follow the laws of society, which are based on the teachings of the Bible. Don't forget that at the time of the Bible, religion and government were one and the same. And it wasnt until not too long ago that that changed. It is because of that that we have the laws we have.

The Bible is one of the oldest, most well-preserved books of ancient history known to man. There are extremely few civilizations older than the writers of the Bible of which we have written accounts of law, and our modern day laws stem from those of the Bible. The idea with that thinking is it's extremely counter-productive. Remember, I originate from a land, where abstinence is more-or-less the norm. Problem here, is the lack of consistency.
I remember well in college, where educated men and women where fucking daily and yet no HIV. These individuals employed safe sex measures and that has significantly minimized the spread of STIs.

Seems futile, imo. Sweden has low HIV rates, due to safe sex, despite being ULTRA sexualized.

I guess you could say that. However the culture in the Scandinavian countries is extremely sexualized. You could be sleeping with various fit, real-blonde, women under an open sex setting.
Regardless, those nations represent some of the (if not, the most) progressive states in the world. Obesity rates are at its lowest, HIV prevalence too, homeless is virtually non-existent, and education is virtually free. Safe sex measures are widely applied in these nation unlike the United States.

Cigarette has a direct relationship with cancer. On the other hand, HIV doesn't necessarily have a direct, clear-cut, relationship with sex. That is why hyper sexual Denmark and Sweden has some of the lowest HIV rates in the world. Its prevalence has a lot to do with its origin (i.e. Africa) and the risky sex methods.

HIV is spreading not because of lack of condoms, but because of lack of abstinence. By no means am I disagreeing but most Black people go to public health facilities where the statistics are made public and a lot of Whites go to private doctors, that alone makes the #s look like more Black have it.
