  • Les souvenirs ce jeu !!!!

  • My mother used to play this for HOURS on my Amstrad ... while I tried to go to sleep so I could be fresh for school the next day...

She was addicted to THIS game and Boulder dash

  • This looks like a 8-bit clone of Mr. Do - Cherries, apples, and monsters.

  • Mr Do was the original, it was released in 1982. The author of Mr EE credits Mr Do as his inspiration in this interview: (Google for Mr EE BBC, first result).

  • You gotta luv cheap knock offs of arcade games. I was never a big fan of Mr.Do though.

  • Great game. Dude. You're really bad at it though!

  • The best Amstrad CPC game

  • This and Zub were my favourite games!!!!!!! I've spent hours playing them when I was a child.

  • I had this!!! Brilliant to see it again. I doubt I've heard that music in what... twenty years or more... but instantly, I recognised it. Thanks a million!

  • best game on CPC. first time i hear about this Mr-Ee you say. it had AI on the monsters? sounds stupid to me. one reason fruity frank was so much fun was that the mobs were totally unpredictable.

  • best game ever ;]

  • First of all, Mr. Ee is a rip-off of Mr. Do, the arcade game, and Fruity Frank is superior to both games in every single aspect. And believe me, I love them all. I've been playing these games again and again and again since 1986 or so.

  • NOTHING can substitute the clown, FIY.

  • Sorry, I meant to spell FYI

  • Frank sure isn't ever gonna be famous, that's for sure.

  • Great Game. Played it a lot.

    Fruity Frank rules !!!!

  • I remember that this game was very popular among Amstrad users ( i guess it was because of its great gameplay and good arcade-style graphics )... It was one of my favorites too.

  • Can anyone tell me where to find this game.... I need to have it AGAIN :))))

  • OMG this was my all time favourite game for AMstrad ..I was completely hooked on that game and could play it for AGES

  • I used to play that game for hours too..

and still want to play but dont know how can I find it(SAME AS IN THAT VIDEO RECORD)

TURKIYEDEN ARKADASLAR SIZDE CEVAP VERIN.. IZMIRDEYIZ VE BU DURUMDA YAKLASIK 8KISIYIZ

  • my neighbour had that game it was deadly hours of fun

  • In fact is a rip off of the arcade game "Mr. Do!", so that bbc game you said is also a rip off.

  • That's not all. Fruity Frank at least has some notable differences, whereas Mr Ee is a virtual carbon-copy of Mr Do; characters, music, gameplay, EVERYTHING!

Don't get me wrong; Mr Ee is a fantastic Beeb version of Mr Do, but in the absence of a licensing deal it's a wonder they never got sued. Or did they?

  • If you have any doubts, search youtube for the original arcade version of Mr Do (not the conversions), and for Mr Ee. It's lawsuit-tastic! :)
