Good point that the polarity statement shouldn't be made just to provoke controversy but should contain at least the seed of a valid position--it's only bloggers that violate this all the time, it's also the hallmark of kneejerk opposition to any idea raised by someone not associated with your party or movement (I'm not naming names, F-x N-ws)...
