@christhedon420 Well, maybe if you'd live in a poor country and barely get something to eat. And even then, there are better ways to stay nourishes. But that is definively not the case four our western countries. We have more food than we need. So why the hell should we add so much stuff (sugar, flavors,...) to our milk. Really, would you drink a coke twice a day and say that's healthy???
What you do is just amazing. I'm so proud to be part of food revolution!!!! We need people like you who gets into action because of firm belief that it will make the world better. You are a true inspiration to me, even though I'm not american. I just love you sooo much (: <3<3
@JamieOliver , I really wish you would stop with your crusade against chocolate milk. As a person who struggles with staying nourished/well fed, chocolate milk is a godsend. Something that not only tastes great, but has unsaturated fat, sugar (which contrary to popular belief is necessary for basic bodily functions), and protein. Milk is also a sustainable source of protein and if purchased from local dairies where you know the cows are treated well you are also helping your local economy.
@christhedon420 sugars are necessary, yes, but not in the refined form that they come in when added to milk and other stuff. Our bodies break down starches and other long-chain carbohydrates into sugars. we don't need to eat added sugar to get the sugars we need in our diet. most fruits are rich in natural sugars that don't send out insulin levels all over the place.
also, seriously, you can't drink milk without added crap? milk's nice all on its own... why do you need it to be flavoured?
@christhedon420 flavoured milk contains lots of refined sugar! It's extremely unhealthy! it's not the simple natural sugar that our body requires for daily function! those simple sugars mostly come from carbohydrates in our rice/bread/pasta etc! know your facts before you speak!
I still can't get over his first show when he says kids in south Africa are eating better than our little kids here. It's very true. My fiance came from a very poor part of Mexico but everything was homemade meat was truly organic and they didn't have to worry much about things like bpa and what not.
God bless you, Oliver, for doing such an amazing thing... Best regard and lots of love from Poland and Russia:*** :)

@christhedon420 And the whole thing with protein is a myth. If you aren't a top athlete you'll rarely need so much proteins.
