Hey ben, I hope you read this, just wanna let you know I had an interview at Teeside Uni last year and the Uni looked awesome! Lots of high tech equipment, dual screen setup on every comp (in the games labs so aint sure about the whole of the uni) so thats damn better than the single screen setup we have at Staffs :/

Anyway, hope this helped a little unless you have already been to an interview at Teeside :D

@BenExell Awesome, and what subjects you doing at college? I got 220 Points with 2 subjects and 2 optional exams which gave me a boost LOL! And I dont know what and how many subjects your doing, but the more you do, the more chance you have! Like 4 C's is 320 points, but 2 A's is only 240.

Anyway, shame really, was good fun as I was second to last interview out of 45!

P.S. Just found out im doing Mudbox organic modelling next year :D sounds hard, but fun!

I attend college at FullSale university in Florida. It is a gaming art school and I am currently an intern working for Blizzard. If you want a career in gaming art it is a good idea to get started in learning zbrush and mudbox we use zbrush more then mudbox though. Keep up the good work.

@am110394 i just looked around many places, best to go on open days. My top two atm are Derby where theres a course called 3D Modeling and Animation for games. One of the guys there was the lead art director on motorstorm (: and Teeside where i went last wednesday and it turned out to have rly good facilities like a motion capture room, 3d lazer scanners, all top spec dual screen computers, 3d printers, a huge 360 degree greenscreen theater thingy room and a room just to go to play games xD
