I went from a Sportster to a Softail Standard to a Ultra Classic in 2 years, 05 to 06, had the Ultra bored out to a 95c.i. before I picked it up from the dealer. It will smoke the new 96 inch stock engines. You have a great looking Bike, enjoy!

My first bike was a 1200 Custom (similar to yours) Lava Red Sun Glow with a fine gold pinstripe. I had Screaming Eagles on it that was a fun bike but didn't suit my needs so I upgraded to a Road King. I still miss the sporty it was a fun quick around town bike. I still may even get another one just for that reason. Have fun and keep both wheels on the pavement.......
