In the '70s I could sort of play the piano, and this was one song I could sort of play. I could also play "Piano Man." in high school, the same girls who liked hearing me play "Piano Man," would yell for me to quit when I'd play "New York New York," a song I actually prefer and which is much easier to play. Never could understand those girls.

you may be able to play piano better than Sinatra, but he sings it better, it was a bit shouty and the top notes were strained. Im so sorry to say this cause I usually love your stuff. I'm still a fan though.

I have been searching a long time for a singer who's tones were similar to the smooth qualities of Mel Torme. Granted a Bit "Shouty" on some of the High "Big" Notes, but saying that you have to do so to make them sound bright.
