triple tap in a gunner's terms is understood three times fire in 1 sec and all 3 hits touches each other. In another terms for machinery is called as "tri-fire" . Tri-Fire is usually scyrcom in assault weapon as one of the mode selectors. Take an example of Aa mdoern M16A4 version. there is no full auto fire, onli tri fire as the max bursts.So the auto fire work is done by a LMG or support group. Even a skilled marksman doing a tri-fire with that would have serious difficulties in doing trptap
The thing is, a triple tap is naturally impossible with a rifle seeing that all three shots must be within a second and at the exact same spot. A recoil from the rifle after a shot takes time, no matter how minimal. So if you forgo the recoil and fire thrice, the second and third shots will be far from the first one.
Yet if you want the shots to land at the same spot, how can you aim and fire thrice in a second, since the best sniper in the world takes 3 seconds to aim?
So I guess the only possible way to attain a triple tap is using a revolver with close-to-zero recoil and a highly sensitive trigger, which in real life is not feasible seeing that a weak recoil means a weak bullet velocity and a soft trigger is just suicide to carry around.
