Try doing a coconut oil treatment on your hair once a month right before it gets dandruff. It is one of the only oils that fits into your hair, makes it glossy, kills bacteria on your skin and scalp, and moisturizes your scalp too. Plus it's natural and full of lots of stuff I'm too lazy to mention right now.I have hair like you and coconut oil is the best treatment I've ever used.
Hair one is a great dupe!!! its $10 at Sally's. Works exactly the same!!! and have 4 types for dry hair, normal hair, colored hair and curly hair. its a lot cheaper and works exactly the same! i know cuz i used both
@PyreOfFate Sorry if it wasn't clear. It was both good and bad. It was amazing for my HAIR but terrible on my scalp. Gave me severe dandruff for months. Had to use a anti dandruff shampoo which defeats the purpose of using a cleansing conditioner that is supposed to take you away from sulfates completely for it to work. So I discontinued it.

@20ernestine Than you for your positive comments. But I am still taking a break from making videos. I am surprised I Still have people watching and subscribing but I just want to re think what I am doing on here and if/when I come back it can be new beginning and new approach. I may make one soon.
I think the sweet almond mint is for fine to medium hair i didnt read coarse hair. but i could be wrong btu i looked at the site to check which one i should get becasue iv been wanting to try it very badly, im a skeptic but iv heard nothing but good things.
@Natashiwa808 Just because its the same concept doesn't mean people usaully brush there teeth OVER the sink not INSIDE the sink or in the shower. You saying you brush your teeth in the shower?
@AgentSomethingCool So? Why do people have to do what the norm is? Its not like its completely different. Just get the job done! And who the heck cares how people brush their teeth? Can we brush our teeth in the kitchen sink? Literally same concept but in the kitchen? OMG! But people dont usually brush their teeth in the kitchen!? lol gosh. As long as you brush your teeth who cares where and how you do it.
@Natashiwa808 I brush my teeth in the shower. Whats the point running water and then going out of the shwoer and running more water and making a mess out of your sink and splashing toothpaste and water all over the mirror? Just do it in the shower seriously. Chill.
@xMaddieeebebex Exactly. Just annoys me because I get comments that are so far off of a tangent and its like "is that really all you took from this video?" Thats why I am on a break from making any more vids.
i used pantene and it did nothing but make my hair more difficult to comb and dried it. i am african american but my hair comes from blacks whites and indian and never gets poof...it may get frizzy wen humid but my hair is too soft to get perms and texturizers stripped my hair like crazy to the point from it being down my back to stopping above my shoulders...would you say that wen made any benefits to your hair?
the dumb thing that people are doing with wen to find results is WASHING YOUR HAIR EVERY DAY! you should never wash your hair every day...it strips the hair no matter what hair shampoo you use
@Ashia971 Wen claims that their product doesnt strip the hair. Also I have very oily hair and acne. If I dont wash my hair everyday my back and face will have a lot of pimples. Not everyone is suited for every so often hair washing. It depends on the person. Dont always have to follow what people say, just do whats right for you.
@Natashiwa808 so how has wen changed your hair in any way...i saw the paid programming and i was convinced but it seemed like you said the shampoo strips your hair but the conditioner doesn't...well i have african american hair inherited with indian and a pinch of white which makes my hair too soft for perming and texturizing makes my hair fall out...would you say it would affect on the type of texture of mine?
@Ashia971 I was convinced by the paid programming too. I didnt say it stripped my hair. The only problem I had with it was that it caused horrible dandruff. The dandruff lead me to use a dandruff shampoo with sulfates which defeats the entire purpose of using WEN. Other than that, it made my hair feel great. No volume but it felt amazing. Shiny and all. I think with your type of hair, it will make it softer, less frizzy and manageable. If you have a dandruff problem like me Id stay away from wen
@Ashia971 its not a shampoo tho, its a cleansing conditioner, thats why it doesnt sud because the soap is what strips your hair, so this product doesnt do that.
@iluvcodysimpson2016 exactly. I wasnt washing my hair everyday to get results. 1) way to expensive to try and waste it 2) I have really oily hair and acne. I have to wash my hair everyday no matter what I use or else my face will get all messed up. And its harder to fix a face than fix hair. lol Thanks! XD
@MarandasZipper Coarse in the sense of being rough because of dryness. I have fine hair meaning thin strands. I was just saying what it said in the booklets that I got with the product.
@hwiseman1 I got it from walmart! Goody wide tooth comb that you can hang in your shower because it has a hole in the handle. I think it was like 3 dollars.
So does this stuff work cuz Im using nioxin for thining hair and nioxin really works but I orderd this stuff for a really good price on qvc and was just wondering if it works and not a waste of my money lol
@nuszky It really depends. For me, it made my hair really nice and healthy feeling but it gave me horrible dandruff. Also in the shower my hair started to come out a lot. So I didnt continue using this product after it was finished. I think it will vary with everyone.
i use 20 pumps & my hair reaches underneath my boobs & i noticed when you use it at first your hair sheds a bit but after you keep using it , it stops & it makes my hair soft & easy to style, & i noticed it works good when it comes to humidity your hair is less likely to frizz if its raining or really hot outside. the trick to using wen is to really massage in your scalp & twist it in your ends so you push the conditioner in your hair cuticles. i love fig it makes my hair fuller & softer.
@Y0ungM0n3y4lif3 Nice to know it works for you! I did go through 2 full sized bottles and my hair always came out. I have a lot of hair so its no big deal but I hate the fact you have to comb your hair in the shower when its at its weakest. Very ineffective and damaging in my opinion. I wish it worked for me because it was expensive but I guess everyone is different.
@Y0ungM0n3y4lif3 Also my hair is to my waist. Just looks not as long because I have layers. So this product would cost me a fortune with my length lol
The Garnier product is probably what's giving you dandruff. I used it faithfully because I loved how my hair would turn out but noticed that I was developing serious dandruff. I thought it was just genetic, because my mom has it. However, it wasn't. A friend of mine told me that Garnier leads to dandruff. Try going with out it for about a month and you'll probably see a change in dandruff.
@gsazon Thats interesting! But no, I am 100% its not the Garnier product. I've been using that for a years. I even used the leave in conditioner before this one came out. I am sure its the WEN, I tried using it again just to finish up the bottles because I just moved and I am trying to clear out my product stash, and yep got bad dandruff. It might just be me, but I've heard of other people who experienced dandruff with WEN. But it does make your hair feel and look good
OMG! Ur hair looks sssoooo shiny (the good type)! And it looks beautiful! I am 14 and my mom won't by the conditioner and we r usin Tresseme and it also revived my hair and is giving it my Spanish curl back slowly! I am Mexican-American. So yeah I use to have super curly hair but it went wavy and it is slowly getting back it's curl.
I have a really bad dandruff problem as well and I found that Sea Breeze (found at sally's) works well for me. Just massage in before washing hair for about 5 to 10 min and you will be good. I found out about this from my hair dresser.
It works great for me and my mom. Yes it's expensive and we did use "mint" I think that's what it's call. Than we started using fig. It works great for us.
@princessintower1 No i haven't honestly I didnt even finish the bottles. I have a little little bit left maybe 2 washes left and I dont like it. It really did some damage to my scalp. If you dont have dandruff issues than its great!! But if you have dandruff issues then its not good.
@pitalovesmusic Yes and no. It worked well for my HAIR, didnt work for my scalp. I didnt finish the entire bottle on both of them. I moved on to Redken which i love. Depends if you have a dandruff problem. It does make your hair feel so good!! Just too expensive for it to make me have dandruff
