I LOVE THIS BIKE, and that colour is just sexy, I would have to stick a bellypan on it though.

The big thing about this bike, is the way the engine was reworked after being borrowed from the, Daytona 675. It hits full torque early on, and maintains it throughout acceleration. Giving you plenty of power on tap at any given speed.

Why is this important?

Because it is real world power. As in power you can actually use on the street. To pull away from cars, get out of dangerous spots, etc...

for me it is more of how well i fit the bike. the triumph is faster but the ducati is still plenty fast enough for me. i like them both.

it depends on what you want from your motorbike..

style and a good torque at low rpm (ideal for city riding) get the italian.

if you r thinking to get a more powerfull and fun bike take the street triple...

Seems like a great bike from all the positive reviews . My only niggle with it is the cartoonish headlights . Needs to look more like an aggressive streetfighter with the Buell xb9 type headlights . instead of the cartoon type charachter that it depicts . looks a little bugeyed . But , add the fly screen and it begins to look less popeye style.

Definately seems to be the better bang for the buck over the xb9 .

He is not making an excepting speech for an "Oscar". In very plan english, without a lot of "Hoopla", he discribed the basic feel, engine torque, and handling of "Naked Street Fighter". This bike review simply does not account the sheer fun and capabilities of the Triumph Street Triple 675. This bike is on my short list to replace my beloved Yamaha FZ6 at some point. Nothing wrong with the FZ6, I just love the raspy, powerful exhaust note from a triple.
