Hello there but would you please elaborate on your comment; "...not what it used to be". I enjoyed a brilliant 2 weeks there back in 2007 and %wise, I founde the dubliners friendly; the Irish beat the Welsh 1-0 at Croke Park and the Temple Bar District was loony that Saturday night. I did not mean to go that direction but I am wondering if your meaning is of the political view or something of the slight increase in the crime rate etc?
Well judging from your name, there's obviously a vendetta lurking within you... I'm a Dub, born and bred and I wouldn't have it any other way, we have a beautiful, warm and welcoming city. Every City in the world has its ups and its downs but in Dublin the ups outweigh the downs. So come all ye who wish to have the craic and come all ye who feel it is enjoyment you lack...
jerk ,with that great big chip on your shoulder you could fix the roads, I am a Dub but live in Scotland ,it costs me a fortune flying home every few weeks but its worth the money . 20 years away and I still call it home. Up the Dubs !!!

I have to sadly agree that Dublin is not what it used to be.

dublin's actually nothing like this, dont be fooled.
its full of scumbags and the streets are in bits.
but sadly its the people of dublin who make it that way.
they are so stuck up and discriminative.

I am not agree!. Irish people are so nice, of course there are a few idiots around, but in general, Irish, specially Dubliners are the best!.
