The roads are most used by large corporations anyways, the cost should be put on them. Many multi-national corporations refuse to do business in countries were the taxpayers do not pay the burden of the services they use.

@rorudomex, the government can, in theory, one day declare it will stop initiating force on non-consenting parties and therefore anyone can revoke their citizenship if they want. They won't have to pay taxes or be subject to their laws, but they won't be able to use the services the government provides either. This kind of peaceful transition would probably be the best way to acheive it.

A libertarian wants a small government, which would mean less regulation (ATF would be mostly out of business), and less welfare. Thunderf00t, I believe you are misinterpreting the libertarian / anarcho capitalist theory. It is not a rejection of authority / regulation out-right and universally, but a rejection of such things without the consent of the individual. I think that idea regarding free markets is very common, but it disregards some very basic truths. You must examine the economic axioms that allow businesses to monopolize markets. Lets say a cell phone company has a monopoly. If the demand for a cheaper product exists, then an entrepeneur can invest in starting a new company which offers cheaper products, and consumers will "vote" for the cheaper service with their dollar.
Libertarians, at least the educated ones, believe in the preservation of life, liberty, and property and that those three concepts cannot be violated through the use of force or fraud. You mentioned corporations. A corporation, in simple terms, is a business that accepts subsidies (tax payer dollars). In a libertarian, or free society, such an entity would not be allowed to exist since property must have been violated in the form of levied taxes.
Currently, what allows big business to monopolize markets (much in the way Microsoft did in the late 90's and early teens) IS regulation. Small business is currently so difficult to start in many countries because they must conform to tax code Z and regulation X and attain Permit A B and C. Meanwhile, large business is relatively uneffected. Quite to the contrary my friend, free markets, purely free markets that is, are the monopolists nightmare.
@VIKubata, on the topic of regulations allowing monopolies, I disagree. Look at the 1800s, before regulation, with monopolies in energy, steel, transportation, electricity, oil (to an extent), and banking (to an extent).
All these industries were monopolized as a result of a lack of regulations. Adam Smith, the founder of laissez faire capitalism states that government should set limits on companies activities, and should bust monopolies, along with the "unseen hand."
How many monopolies are the result of the government itself? How many are created by frivolous lawsuits, bought politicians who award contracts, tax supported institutions (including those "bailed out"), excessive regulations that create an impenetrable barrier of entry, and how many out right created, such as the U.S. post office? Are government monopolies better than private?
Furthermore, how many of those monopolies were natural, I.E., had a superior product/service, such as the Ipod?

I feel like sometimes people feel the need to associate themselves with a party. And I think a lot free thinking individuals do so with the libertarian party but as me and most of my friends recently decided is that we don't really agree with all the values in any one party, including libertarian. I think it's best for everyone to stop picking a party to blame or ackowledge but to just suggest logical solutions to problems.

A libertarian wants a small government, which would mean less regulation (ATF would be mostly out of business), and less welfare. A anarchist is more along the lines of Tyler Durden from Fight Club, or those guys in Michigan that create anti-government militias. TO MY UNDERSTANDING I think you need to amass at least a couple of thousand subscribers first--
Basically, if you're getting enough viewers, Youtube will be able to direct more people towards their advertisements and then a percentage of those people will go out and buy those products.
Once you show that you can do this thousands of times over, they MAY consider you, but I honestly have no real idea other than get hoards upon hoards of subscribers and channel views

I have nothing against Google trying to make money, that is how capitalism works.
However I am not a fan of capitalism or communism because the systems are very open to corruption... capitalism is shown to somewhat work, it works better when merged/mixed with socialism what is effectively what most democracies around today are... a capitalist/socialist mix.... but while capitalism works, it allows too much abuse within it's required market place... and Google has started abusing it badly.

Thunderf00t, I believe you are misinterpreting the libertarian / anarcho capitalist theory. It is not a rejection of authority / regulation out-right and universally, but a rejection of such things without the consent of the individual. The idea is that a free market in conjunction with property rights will allow systems such as a roadway to reach a natural equilibrium with the desires of society and the demand for regulation.
I mean to communicate this with respect, discussion is healthy.

In a recent BBC poll of 24 industrialized counties, over 85% of those surveyed wanted more government control over their economy. Out of those countries,Turkey was the only country that's population wanted less governmental control.

I think that idea regarding free markets is very common, but it disregards some very basic truths. You must examine the economic axioms that allow businesses to monopolize markets. Lets say a cell phone company has a monopoly. If the demand for a cheaper product exists, then an entrepeneur can invest in starting a new company which offers cheaper products, and consumers will "vote" for the cheaper service with their dollar.

Libertarians, at least the educated ones, believe in the preservation of life, liberty, and property and that those three concepts cannot be violated through the use of force or fraud. You mentioned corporations. A corporation, in simple terms, is a business that accepts subsidies (tax payer dollars). In a libertarian, or free society, such an entity would not be allowed to exist since property must have been violated in the form of levied taxes.

Currently, what allows big business to monopolize markets (much in the way Microsoft did in the late 90's and early teens) IS regulation. Small business is currently so difficult to start in many countries because they must conform to tax code Z and regulation X and attain Permit A B and C. Meanwhile, large business is relatively uneffected. Quite to the contrary my friend, free markets, purely free markets that is, are the monopolists nightmare.

@VIKubata, on the topic of regulations allowing monopolies, I disagree. Look at the 1800s, before regulation, with monopolies in energy, steel, transportation, electricity, oil (to an extent), and banking (to an extent).
All these industries were monopolized as a result of a lack of regulations. Adam Smith, the founder of laissez faire capitalism states that government should set limits on companies activities, and should bust monopolies, along with the "unseen hand."

As far as getting the flu shots, my family never did that. Not because we thought it was right or wrong, but we did not have the social interactions that larger areas did. In my 21 years of life I have never had a flu shot, but seeing as no one that I know of has died from the swine flu shot I see no harm in it.

I doubled checked Thunderf00ts accountancy on what "Youtube Partner" profit he really would have got for 13,000,000 video views.
At $0.15 per click, and an optimistic 1% of viewers actually click on the adverts: that makes $19, 500 over two years work. Hardly an income you can live off. Again 1% of viewers clicking on your ads is VERY optimistic.
For the Brits, thats £11,945.12 over two years or £5972.56 a year.

As long as the money doesn't shift your view of the world too much, go for it. The service you provide to the world is great; you are educated but not "above" anyone; you are passionate and intelligent. You are a springboard for my own intellectual development: what you say, I study in more detail. If the money won't stop this, then go for it.

I feel like sometimes people feel the need to associate themselves with a party. And I think a lot free thinking individuals do so with the libertarian party but as me and most of my friends recently decided is that we don't really agree with all the values in any one party, including libertarian. I think it's best for everyone to stop picking a party to blame or ackowledge but to just suggest logical solutions to problems.
