After listning to their new album, its almost as if the rest of the band are working around what martin is doing, as aposed to the oppisite which is obvious with the other drummers (adrian especially) , martin just brings this new extreme and even more complex element to cradle i dont think adrian or even nicholas could even think of doing.

I liked Adrian's style for some reason more than any drummers Cradle's ever had.. But I personally think Marthus is the best skill wise out of all, follwed closely by Barker..

The only problems I had with Barker was there was no... emotion. He would sit there and barely do anything, never headbanged or anything. And his fills were sloppy, Beneath the Howling Stars live is a great example, nearly every transition is a sloppy one.. Other than that he's a great drummer.

I've been a drummer for 12 years this December and Cradle is a big influence. There are tons of faster COF songs. After you grow a set you can reply.

Nick Barker is out of the chart ... he is the chart itself. But the discussion here is clearly not about him. Marthus is extremely complex and diverse. After listening him playing you can very clearly distinguish his style. His playing is very... intellectual if I may say so. He is an absolutely  virtuous musician having heart and sense in his music. Just think, if you take his drums out of the song and simply listen to them they will evoke emotions so intense as the entire song.
