  • What is that bass that Mark is playing at 4:00 onwards? Pangborn maybe?

  • Thanks for posting this, fantastic! I used to walk past Chets Music School for years in Manchester, never knew Lindup went there :)

  • they playin captain scarlet??

  • Where did you get this from? I saw this on TV in 1983 I think. I even emailed the BBC a couple of years back to see if they had it but no luck. It was either a 30 minute or 1 hour documentary. Fantastic. There's also a Whistle Test On The Road of them from the Pursuit of Accidents Tour that I saw in 1982 on BBC2 but I've never seen it since.

  • @jazzzzdude think this was on channel 4, might be worth asking them if they still have a copy!

  • What a great retrospective of Level 42.Another example of a overnight success LOL!!

  • always thought the gig was from hammersmith odeon !

  • Saw the band play live last night in London. They are still fantastic :)

  • Ein schönes Zeitdokument für uns Levelheads !!!

  • Incredible to thing of Level 42 as a lounge act!! LOL They are the greatest!

  • This is the first time I ever heard the Gould boys speaking voices.

  • They all come across as very intelligent and well educated - take a note today's 'musicians' this is how you do it.

  • @retroglide2000 Don't worry - taking note is exactly what I am doing! Just figured out the chords to this one which I'm happy about! There are decent musicians out there today (I'm 27).

  • Level 42 playing in a holiday camp when they were already pretty famous is quite a thing. I'd loved to have seen them in such circumstances :)

  • I love this, Level 42 as a lounge act.:-) Hilarious! Still one of my favorite bands ever.

  • Great, really enjoyed hearing about their journey to success!
