if horace grant doent gei hurt in game 1 and if nick anderson doesnt get hurt in game 3 its no way in the heck the bulls sweep the magic, because grant was killing the bulls in 95 ,and he would have done the same in 96 if fully healthy.
Might have squeezed out 2 at most.. either way, the Bulls were a team of Destiny that year, and no one player would have stopped that. And that 95 Bulls team had very little resemblance to this 96 team in terms of how the team was won.
One mayb 2 games for Orlando but no way jordan and the Bulls would have lost to the Magic this yr. 95 Bulls was no where near the 96 Bulls If its either a sweep or win in 6 games Bulls still sent Magics Home.. and basically broke dem up Shaq was out after this yr
I saw this game a long time ago, back when I was 10 years old. Could have sworn there was a Dennis Scott 3 point shot at halfcourt somewhere, I forgot when.
Many People Regarded The Orlando Magic As The Team Of The Future. The Bulls Made Quick History Of That Future. And Not Only Did The Bulls Sweep The Magic, But They Did So In Such A Manner That It Sent A Message To The Magic That There Would Be No Future, As Long As This Chicago Bulls Team Was Around.
@deonvan no he wasn't. He was 6'5". Pippen is 6'7". You can easily tell MJ was 6'5", and he was. Some people list themselves at a certain height for some egotistical reason like Mark Madsen who is really 6'7" was listed as 6'9", even 6'10".
@SamuelMoralesJr my friend is 6 feet 5 taking picture with MJ when he was wearing sandal. MJ has a good 1 inch or just shy of 1 inch taller than my friend.
@deonvan then either you, or your friend is a liar. MJ is no taller than 6'5" bare foot. Same thing with Kobe who was listed at 6'7" one time in his NBA career. Rodman was 6'7". Rodman played poker with Tony Hawk who is 6'3", and Rodman had 4 inches on him.
@SamuelMoralesJr Either you are a liar. Take you 2 months to answer back? My friend had met MJ personally. No need to lie. Picture don't lie. Anyway end of conversation. Peace.
@deonvan just put Karl Malone who is 6'9" compared to MJ, MJ is 4 inches shorter, and Malone is really 6'9", and it showed when he faced Hulk Hogan who is 6'6" on a wrestling gig.
@SamuelMoralesJr How can you EASILY tell Jordan was 6'5 and not 6'6? did you go to that many games and get that close to him that you could tell they were lying about that ONE INCH all these years? lol
horace grant being hurt really impacted the magic in this series...bulls were still the better team though...but i think the series would have been better if grant were healthy
As a diehard Bulls fan I was so nervous for this series. But seeing Longley start out strong by scoring the first 4 PTS of the game and playing great Defense against Shaq just gave me chills. I still get them thinking about it to this day.
nbc always used the crowd noise to their advantage in their telecasts...abc/espn don't do that. we want to hear the crowd guys who really cares about the announcers. for crying out loud this crowd makes greg gumbel sound exciting, and nbc makes sure you can hear them during the game. USE THEM TO YOUR ADVANTAGE ESPN!
u should also get the game in 93 where jordan got 64 points vs the magic or just any other of michaels 50/60 point games or great bulls playoff games...of course if u can i know u cant upload everything
i loved horace when he was in chi but he basically bagged on the bulls when mike left and went to orlando. on top of that, he killed us in the 95 eastern conference semis and torched us the entire series.
the opening anthem of the bulls gives me chills.
