Modern humanity is so pathetically out of touch with reality it's laughable, really. The ancients were in touch with the cosmos, their creator, and weren't constantly in denial about how the world and the cosmos really works. Most of the Earth's inhabitants (those who are still asleep) are in for some big shocks when they learn that these "myths" are not myths at all, but their way of documenting truth. Time to wake up! An astounding turn of events is on our doorstep.

The reason why we do not "see" this sun is because we are not in orbit around another sun... but a black hole. Orbital decay around this black hole could also explain the Universe's "expansion" without having to ascribe to the commonly accepted "dark matter" culprit as an explanation for the universe's expansion away from our solar system at an ever increasing rate. However... if we are slowly falling inward... as we would in orbit around a black hole... the physics makes more sense. Feedback?

According to the theories brought forth in this documentary, out solar system is, in fact, a binary star system consisting of our sun and, most likely, a brown dwarf star. Somehow, I'm not quite ready to throw away everything we know about orbital mechanics, and about the very real effects of the Sun's and the Moon's gravity on the Earth's equatorial bulge, to accept a hand-waving "explanation" of precession that's based on (questionable) translations of records from ancient peoples who supposedly knew all about a "binary companion" star that's undetectable by any of our modern observations. How can the wobble of the earth, that changes which star-sign is highest at the horizon. Have the same effect as the sun circling around a point and pulling earth with it.

@SSCONCORD It takes the Earth 2,160 yrs to move out of one constellation to the next. This is the amt of time it take the Earth to make 1 revolution around the Sun. Once that revolution is complete, the Earth's axis "points" if you will @ another set of stars (constellation). So, the alignment is with Sun-Earth-Constellations. It is important to keep in mind that alignments are determined by the axis of the planets (north-south).

@hammerkkk Graham Hancock's Fingerprints of the Gods is a remarkable work in my estimation. But, I don't think the arguement for a binary system is w/o merit. As far as my studies have revealed, the Sun appears to have a very specific orbit itself, that leads scientists to believe that it is orbiting another, unknown celestial body with a strong magnetic field.

Which according to Mayans and their calculation of Precession of the Equinoxes, next "Spring Equinox" transition would occur on Winter Solstice 2012. However, as Newton's calculation seems mathematically most accurate with the last occurrence in 101 BC, Mayans might have been off some 40 years too early with their calculation of 2012. But for Mayans from 2000 years ago, which didn't have any of the instruments Europeans had, not to mention today's equipment, I'd call Mayans pretty damn accurate.

At 6:08 you show the stars revolving counter-clockwise around "the north pole of the sky" (Polaris?).

However, at 6:47 you show the stars revolving clockwise. The reference point is still "the north pole of the sky", no?

@caminanteplanetario I know what you're saying. The difference being a 24-hr spinning observation versus a 26,000-yr observation (one degree every 72 yrs) from a "fixed" point in the earth's wobble. Thank you!

Next problem/question: The precession is always taught as a counter-clockwise phenomenom - with regards to the sun's apparent path "through" the backdrop of constellations. Does this video show precession clockwise because they're NOT taking into account the ecliptic path?

Unfortunately the binary star idea is false and just a guess like most other academic teaching.

See "Solar System New Interpretation" on kakusupa channel, for an accurate acount of the spiraling nature of our solar system.

This is the reason for the so-called precession. Not an invisible binary star orbiting on an elliptical plane as shown in this vid.

Ellipses do not exist in the Real Universe, they are geometric idealized figures which remove the forward motion of the body.
