If you listen closely you can tell it is hard for me to breathe properly due to my heart condition and the overgrown Candida. :P But in general people like my voice and buy my songs and everything. I just thank God for Him allowing me to do what I love despite the illness. Katie is a young singer on YouTube who sings pretty nice, but people make fun of her. The picture is of her. Maybe she can build her voice up but personally, a voice is not like a usual instrument such as a Clarinet or something like that. You can't play for 7 years and be good. The way your voice works, personally, is more on talent and you build from there. She has an average voice.
Honestly I don't mind the girl or anything, but boosting her is almost worse than bringing her down, because she can't sing, being able to say words loudly and singing are completely different things. And even the low notes sound like they take way too much energy. and I can't belive anyone can be able to ignore how false her notes are, I mean she sings WITH the actual thing in the back and you can hear the actual note while she's going false. Telling a 13 year old she's got great talent in something she can barely do can cause some serious problems and delusion for the future. That shits not good.

heres the thing though, she hits roughly 1 or 2 notes and those are the very very low ones, and those are nearly in a talking voice, and the majority of people can talk. Whenever she goes above that in the scale she crashes violently. I Mean she could probably improve that if she went to a vocal coach or did some actual practice, y'know say hitting notes accurately along with a guitar or a piano just getting it to go in harmony with the sound.
Its common knowledge that you get better from doing something, but if you wanna be anything more than avarage you've gotta put some work in it, I'm an artist (I draw) and I sing and play the guitar, and in these things if you wanna be good at well anything you can't just sing a song or draw whatever you want if you want to be really good you have to practice stuff you don't want to practice stuff that seems repetitive but is ultimately neccessary.
is if everyone keeps encouraging her ESPECIALLY when others are saying "YOU SUCK" and then you return with a "don't listen to them haters they's just hatin" you're keeping her from growing as much as the haters if not more. Because getting support like that makes a person think they're great, and she's not great, her effort is great but the outcome is bad to mediocre and I don't mean that in a mean way I mean that in an actual reality sort of way.
I mean if you wanna in any way help (though I figure that chance is gone now that she's hit youtube semi celbrity and the trolls and anti trolls are all over) is be 100% honest say "hey katie this was great this needs work" y'know honest feedback. Always the best in any kind of case.

I agree with what youre saying but I just don't think she is as bad as what everyone says she is. I know she needs practice. Heck, I've won singing competitions and I still need practice. But you have to start somewhere and I think if people would stop the hateful comments, not the honest ones, but the hateful ones, it would help a ton.
