When you consider the Phantom foul, and Isiah's injured state, LA really got lucky on that one. And in 89 they simply buried LA. Thomas is as legit of a player as there is.....every bit as much of a Legend as Magic. Yet he doesnt get the same proper recognition.

Magic writes that his agent informed him that Isiah was spreading rumors - (and he never confronted his so called friend about the rumors even though he had a 20 year window of opportunity) 3. Its pretty clear that the whole thing was Magic's way of selling more books.

I'm not saying that Isiah thomas was the easiset person to deal with in his day, but Isiah Thomas was a short guy from the west side of Chicago that grew up utter poverty....he was the way he was because that's the attitidue he acquired to make it. I'm from Magic Johnson's hometown and his jersey is still hanging in Everett Highschool and I went to MSU for college and in Lansing he was the golden boy. So it is what it is, both of them are legends,some of the best to ever play time to end this.

Isiah said he had no part in "starting" the rumor. The interviewer should have drilled him and asked him if he'd EVER said any of the things he was allegged to have said. And Isiah, as usual, plays the victim role; the "I didn't do anything wrong" and, of course, the race card. "As two african american men". So what if the guy had been white? Many in the NBA have described Isiah as a snake. At least half of the NBA does not like Isiah. If I had to choose between believing Magic and Isiah, I would believe Magic. The foul way Isiah did Larry Brown, how he embarrassed Don Chaney and Lenny Wilkens. How he took up for troublemaker Stephon Marbury. It seems like since Isiah stopped playing, everyting he touches turns to shit. The CBA, the Knicks, etc. Whether Magic is gay or not, you don't go around spreading stuff like that.
