Why compare McCartney to Mozart? I don't see the connection, musical or otherwise. Let's just say that McCartney is one of the greatest song writers/musicians/influences of our day, and leave it at that...
The Beatles were too prolific to stay together. It would have been nice but there was too much talent and not enough room on the albums or time in the day for each of their projects. Yet, it would have benn better had they stayed together, Like a 4-plex studio, ha,ha.
I think if the Beatles took a two year break from one another and got back together, they'd been more unstoppable. Especially if they turned out tunes like "Junor's Farm"!
Paul McCartney is the Mozart of our times. He writes music as easily as you and I breathe, and his songs blow everyone else's songs away. He's the musical geniuses' musical genius of these times. Add John, George and Ringo, and forget about it! The greatest band of them all! Rock on! FoJ
I think the best version was when Jimmy McCulloch was in the band and played the guitar part- he was a cool guitarist while he lived- sad how drugs killed him
Jimmy was amazing. His guitar playing was very heavy for Beatle-related music, which I loved. I truly think Jimmy could've ended up in a hard rock/heavy metal band like, I dunno, Thin Lizzy? The closest he got to metal was in a band called Wild Horses with Jimmy Bain, future bassist of Dio.
