gravity is the weakest force and since that astoroid is friken massive and traveling very fast... but as always, its a game

Proportions mean nothing with force. To go through saturns rings, it has been pulled through into saturns gravity, speeding it up, then redirecting it slightly and losing speed, to make it a moon it needs to be going around the planet, and when it has too much velocity, it won't.

I know its a game, but couldnt they atleast have made the size of the Apophis asteroid correct? its the size of Manhattan (correct me if im wrong) not the size of virginia/tennesee

i love this game, i did buy iot to put me on till friday until forza 4 came out. and do a 5er to swap. but am so into this game now i wont be swapping it for forza going to have to find another 40 pound from somewhere. this game is awesome. really. its a real shame its had so much problems on pc, cause i just spent 200 pounds on a new ati 5870 graphics card, but this game is so unplayable on pc its a joke. so i had to buy it 4 my 360. i didnt get it 4 ps3 i doubt there will be any difference.

@trotskiii3 Try downloading bethesda's latest patch for ATI cards, and or updating your gpu's drivers. It will help the framerate if that is the issue.

I really like the game. Don't criticize the story, only watch this cool gameplay. For me, this game was a lot of fun.

And by the way, the Intro soundtrack is that awesome, i can't even describe it......

@XDudin8erX Cause the Mass of the Asteroid is very small than the Mass if the Planet Saturn. So it only changes the Direction but it didn´t pull it into the Gravity Field of Saturn.

@apocberlin1984 Have you heard of shoemaker levy 9? It was originally going to hit mars, but a shift in gravity came it tumbling towards Jupiter, and it is close enough to swing it around saturn, or make it a moon.

Interesting how the game "Rage" is based on the future asteroid "Apophis" which has a probability of 2.7% that it will hit our moon and Earth in 2029.
