i was just finishinf thrasncribing this by my self and u just crushed all my work XDlol na kidding i just took 15 min to learn how to play the main melody XD but then i find ur video and its the full song so now i dont need to finish my transcribing XD Thanks... IM thinking in remakin this song u can listen my work here on youtube i think u could like it =) of course i'll put the link to the original video thanks agaion =)
lol, I cheated extremely badly on rayquaza battle in Red/Blue
There is this hidden secret bug, called having the same moves . All my pikachu knows is thunderbolt, thunderbolt, thunderbolt, and light screen.
The game doesn't check to see if you already know this move so you can use TMs and learn the same move 4 times.
You can see where this is headed. link all thunderbolts together and 3x the chance to paralyze rayquaza. I spammed focus punch on rayquaza as charmander.
You're correct. This song was remixed in PMD2 (I consider Sky to still fall under PMD2), and can be found in the Sky Jukebox under the name "Defy the Legends". I prefer PMD1's version though, since PMD2's sounds a little too synthetic and somewhat less tragic.
@Thel0nes0me0ne Yeah also in pokemon mystery dungeon time and darkness, but this music style was in mystery dungeon pmd1 if u hear both games you will hear a differnce with the style
@DuhAsianese It scared me too. I was kind of in shock and didn't pay attention to the cutscene after. I don't know what happened, but I'm glad it did. :P
@Bespinben Ah, yeah. In Pokemon Mystery Dungeon one (missed out a D there) D:
No Pokemon had a set gender. Therefore, you could just Attract something and immobilise it whatever gender you were. I started as a Skitty, which learns Attract early on. Which meant that anything, even bosses, would fall to my almighty charm! It pretty much made the game as easy as cake! :)
Squirtle's just as bad though, considering that once he learns Protect, he is virtually impenetrable for the next 7 turns. The difference though is that he learns the move around lvl 25 (I think), so he's not nearly as cheap as Skitty.
Wonderful arrangement, as always! I remember when I defeated Rayquaza. He had used Dragon Dance x infinity, and Tackle did 1 damage while Flamethrower did 3. I knew I was delaying the inevitable by using Berries. Then, I remembered that I had found and used TM Solarbeam on my Treecko. He charged his lazah, almost died, fired... and it did over 400 damage. 4x ineffective. Not a critical hit. XP I swear I'll never underestimate that move again.
@dregadude charged moves like solarbeam, fly, dig does INSANE amount of damage in PMD erase everything you learned from them pokemon rpgs. youre a pokemon now, not a trainer
@GeekmasterPaul I really don't see many similarities between the two songs other than both being in duple meter and a few similar chord progressions. In my opinion, they are actually quite different from eachother. The Primal Dialga theme maintains a desperate tone throughout, while the Rayquaza theme has 2 distinct sections: (1) The beginning, which fleshes out the motif hinted at in the Fugitives theme, and; (2) Measures 13-38, which sounds very fun and exciting, contrasting with section 1.
I destroyed Rayquaza. Being a Squirtle is kinda OP when fighting bosses. The thing knows Protect.

This song should have played for Suicune too (or Suicune could have her own theme), I could NOT beat her (despite having a Pikachu and Chikorita).

Now that you have done both, do you see the similarities of both Primal Dialga's and Rayquaza's themes? (I just heard them recently)

@GeekmasterPaul Oh that's fine :) I just wanted to point out that the songs are both indeed very epic, but they acheive that in different ways.
