yep, see the problem is for whatever reason, producer's and directors, as history has shown, somehow become attracted to games that have no potential as a movie. Usually ones involving lots of killing, and that's about it. A game with fantastic lore and story could make a damn good movie. in the right hands.

I noes. hw2 is a really good game, but the storyline is just awful.

1. THEY LET THE BENTUSI DIE. And even if the bentusi harborship was the only thing left for their race, why couldn't they build more and inhabit another planet to repopulate their race and rule the universe?

2. The higarans spent hundreds of years on that mothership and they just dump it. Total waste. some other race is probably going to find htat...

3. they made the storyline so that it's almost impossible to make hw3

1) the Bentusi dont think like normal people. First off they have no planet. It would "bind" them. second, they ARE their ships. So when a ship goes they have no choice but to go with it.

2)They had no choice. The only way they could have moved the ship out of that place is with the hyperspace core. however, It was needed for sajuuk.

Yes, the bentusi IS dead. homeworld cactalysm was talking about the 7 bentusi harbor ships that escaped. Over time, 1 by 1, the bentusi died out because they failed to control every part of the galaxy because their ships were so few. And if you were paying attention to the missions in hw2, you should know that the bentusi harborship you saw in hw2 was the LAST OF THE BENTUSI. They sacrificed themselves to save the higara and let them take their core.

The reply to your comment fortresring is that they never said anything about how long it took to build the first or second mothership. But what they DID say is that the motherships took generations to build. Which means centuries. So it cannot be 30 years.

they could not go back for it because it was left in the gravitational field of the great nebula. That's why the vagyr and the hiigarans had to use the balcora gate to get there instead of hyperspacing. Besides, it woulda taken them years to hyperspace all the way there. All the stuff and technology the hiigarans had was transported into sajuuk anyways, and the mothership could not function without the core. (The 3 cores were put into their new flagship, sajuuk)

In my opinion, command isn't that good. I know it takes time to gather resources and to build a fleet but Sajuuk could be alone as she destroys the larger ships. I am sure the other capital ships are quicker than her. Send them forward to aid the allies as Sajuuk does her thing(s).
