Described in the video is the standard of reasonable suspicion not probable cause. Also, probable cause has differing meanings, probable cause to arrest is different than probablce cause to search/seize. I believe that it was probable cause to file a criminal action not to convict (beyond a reasonable doubt is as previously noted the correct standard for conviction.
I have to disagree with this attorney. Proof beyond a reasonable doubt is the standard for conviction, not probable cause. This guy passed the bar exam?
lol. Lets not forget that probable cause needs to be determined before an arrest is even made. Most law enforcement officers today overlook this fact when dealing with the 4th Amendment. By usurping the 4th, they will usually find 'suspected' evidence to warrant the arrest that initiates the Criminal Case in the first place. In todays Amerika, it is truly guilty before innocent.

Probable cause is the standard by which law enforcement officers execute actions such as arrest, searches and obtaining warrants.
Probable cause is also a standard which a Grand Jury determines whether or not they believe a crime has been committed.
And you are right, "beyond a reasonable doubt" by legal definition refers to the level of certainty a judge or jury must have in order to convict.
I will definitely NOT show this guy's video in my next class (law enforcement instruction)
