they should never have crossed the series' in the films.... games are alright. Although I think ALIENS is due a game adaptation/sequel (e.g. like John Carpenter's The Thing), today's games owe so much to James Cameron's original.

thats what i heard. this will have up to 4 players, because the campaign is you ordering around 3 other marines.

avp3 however will be more like deathmatch, with players as all races against each other

Most games today have coop gaming, well.... most of those great games.

Anyway, Colonial Marines are useless when we have AvP3.

In AvP games it never was just one map like on a ship only, it was on different planets, ships, alien hives, atc.

I've played AvP2 and yes I know it's all about story. BUT the developers of the new avp already said there's going to be next to no story. The only story will be with the marines anyways. I can see colonial marines having a much deeper story line seeing as how there wont be any death match and that sort of thing they're focused on story which makes a good coop game.

:D in AvP3 there is storyline for every mision, in beta you as predator, are in a search for a crashed ship that marines have taken over and you are going there to destroy that ship, at the end of that beta there is a predalien.

So saying that there is no story is pretty stupid from you. AvP1 had its story, AvP2 had its story, so why the fuck are you saying that AvP3 wont have its story. There will be story for every race.

In AvP you can play as 3 races which is awesome comepared to one stinky human.

Aliens: colonial marines was taken on board by Sega, as the previous company working on the game had to cancel it's production. Sega have also just announce that they will be making the next Alien Vs Predator game, which is completely seperate from Aliens: colonial marines, however it seems to be the same engine, probably same models, but also the ability to play as predator, as both alien vs predator games allow you to play as all 3 races, it is due for a 2010 release.

It is more informative to call this game colonial marines. Play AVP2 (game) and you'll see that it is unrealistic and unnatural to play as aliens. Plus cooperative death matches get tiresome fast. Heres a a game that tries to best simulate the experience of the marines like in the movie.
