The whole point of the "nicknames" was to give the clones personality, you cant have everyone calling Clones by their service numbers. The Jedi,for the most part, wanted the Clones to feel comfortable and feel like they were more then genetically created creatures used for battle. Anyways stuff like "tinnies" was created before the series by Karen Travis for the Republic Commando books.

Actually its not Hayden. Anakin's voiced by Matt Lanter, the guy from: Heroes, Commander in Chief, and Disaster movie. He did just as good as Hayden!

Thanks, it was a good job. The voice behind Obi-wan was good as well. It's just too bad the original cast was not available for the movie...oh well I guess it was cheaper for George this way. Still all in all I enjoyed it and look forward to the series on TV ;-)

I'm such a huge fan of SW and have another question for you (if you don't mind ;-) I love Obi-wan but never understood why he did not tell Luke all about his mother (Padme) later on in Ep. IV. She was a huge part of the prequels but was never mentioned after that...how sad ;-(

Obi-Wan knew that Luke was not ready to carry the burden of his father as the Dark Lord, Leia as his sister, or the tragic end of his mother. If Obi-Wan told Luke too soon, Luke would be consumed of anger and fear which would lead him to the dark side. Obi-Wan eventually tells Luke about his mother in Episode 7 after Luke becomes a wise Jedi knight. I hope that answers your question. Feel free to ask me any questions, I'm a SW fan too and know almost everything about it!

Saw the film the other day. The first half of the movie wasn't so bad, but I couldn't get over how child-oriented the second half seemed. I know it's Star Wars, and they all have that sort of hook to attract younger audiences... but it just felt ridiculous in this one.

And the intro reminded me of an episode of Buzz Lightyear :(

That being said, I enjoyed the interaction between Anakin and Ashoka. And loved Rex in this ^_^

The animation looks cool but I'm really bummed that the main characters original actors are not voicing them. Really all in all though I don't intend on going to go see it at all. It seems to me all George Lucas wanted was to make an extra buck, which doesn't seem fair to me since he has millions all ready from other movies he's directed and/or produced. Plus with the other recent Star Wars movies I've been CGIed out so a movie that is completely CGI would give me a headache.
