@Schinderhannes01 I don't understand the point you are trying to make. Bottom line, when someone purchases a German car, they don't want a car put together by a Muslim. I think we can all agree on that. I purchased a BMW and it was very well built, I traded it in on another BMW that was a piece of garbage. I could not figure out why. I later found out that the later BMW I got was man in a factory in south Carolina by a bunch of blacks. Mystery solved.
@LukeNAESA10 use your brain idiot. the range rover is a 2.5 ton brick its not a sports truck. the new ones do have that awesome 5.0 SC'ed engine which is very fast.
@LukeNAESA10 The German's own your ass in engineering and on dropping bombs on your city. Porsche, BMW, Audi, they are all better than your aweful Jaguar cars. In American, only gay Jews drive Jaguar. Real men drive German cars.
@Armornone....real men don't come online to give people verbal abuse hiding behind a computer.....as for cars.....the Japanese are the best. These days the Germans quality is slowly getting worse due to economic factors.
@goodcat1982 The only thing that makes a German car worse is foreigners such as Muslims coming to Germany. Its like having illegal aliens(Mexicans) coming to American and building a car that a master mechanic use to build.
Sorry, but German cars are still the best. The Japanese can make copies of German cars but German still lead the field. The Porsche, and Audi supercars are still better than a Nisan GT3 or a modified Honda. LOL.
@Armornone........i have 2 BMW mechanic mates and both of them tell how fault prone the new bmw's are. To many electrics to go wrong. Thats just fact.
and i have no idea what you mean by the japanese make german copies? You clearly have no idea about cars. I've owned 3 jap cars and 3 german cars. All of them were fantastic but the bewer german cars that i have owned werent as reliable as the older german cars that ive owend. Again just another fact. its not a question of opinion.
@goodcat1982 The Newer German car was probably built by a Muslim in Germany whereas your older German car was probably built by a real German. Do you understand?
@Armornone......econoic worries over the past few years means finacial tightening. Finacial tightening means poorer quality. For everyone. Do you understand? I won't reply or read your reply. Your too thick for me to talk too.
In 2005, BMW were the parenting company of Land Rover. In 2007, Ford was the parenting company, and the Range Rover Sport Superchaged goes MUCH faster. 0-100kph in 7 seconds.
A Tahoe/Yukon is rated to tow up to 8500lbs. as a 2WD and 8200lbs. as a 4WD. There's no replacement for displacement, especially when it comes to towing. In comparison, the Range Rover HSE is rated for 7716lbs., which is close, but no cigar. You already know my opinion on mechanical lockers vs. traction assistance devices, but with a Z71 package, a Tahoe is just as well. No technological gizmos, but I'll trust proven mechanics over electronics any day. The RRC would beat either off-road, though.
the 7716lbs beats the emberesrassing 6,700ib you get out of the 5.3ib (witch is even less then a ford explorer....with a smaller engine)you would find on the z21,and again range rovers have rear and center lockers, and 11 inches of ground clearance, better angles
Apparently you didn't read my comment. Again, with the towing package the 5.3 can tow 8500lbs. in 2WD form and 8200 in 4WD form. It's Z71, not Z21, and it can be had with not only the 5.3, but the 6.2, too. The G80 locker comes standard on ALL Tahoes/Yukons, regardless of engine or trim level. A locker is only optional on the Range Rover HSE. Yes, the RR has more ground clearance in off-road mode, as I'd hope it would with such an off-road pedigree, but it's also a few hundred pounds heavier.
wow consumers diegest is a crappy magizine,i should useing stats i find from it,but if what you say is true, then i guess the rear locker dosen't help enough, even without the lockers,a range rover hse is still more capible ive seen plenty of videos to prove, the tahoe and yukon are just low to ground, and the traction control applys to all four weels on a range rover, where the front diff is opend, and the front suspension on the tahoe isn't very flexable comapared to the rangie
I'm going off of the manufacturers' own specifications from their websites. The Tahoes/Yukons have over 9 inches of clearance at lowest point, which isn't too shabby for a vehicle with off-road not being a top priority. And again, independent suspension doesn't really flex (they have IFS), so I don't see how you could use that term for either vehicles. If it weren't for electronics, a Range Rover would get stuck quickly. I'll agree that from the factory, a Range Rover is better suited off-road.
the suspension on the range rover is very flexable and match most full size suvs with solid axles, unlike the more simple front suspenion on the tahoe, and the 9 inches of ground clearance dosen't really make up for its bulking aproch and departure angles, and the land rover didn't have electronics,it wouldn't really bemuch of a land rover,
Again, there's no flex with independent suspension, period. There's travel, not flex. Also again, off-roading isn't a high priority with the Tahoe/Yukon. A Land Rover would most definitely be a Land Rover without stupid electronic control systems. That'd be like saying a Defender isn't a Land Rover since it doesn't have electronics to do things for the driver, and the Defender is more of a Land Rover than any of the wannabe vehicles they make now.
yup, range rover was owned by bmw (they developed this model) but sold to ford before release, but they continued to supply the engines, until ford being the retards they are started putting crappy jag engines 2006 onward, so if you get one get a 2002-2005 range rover.
The "proper 4.2 V8" was the somewhat unreliable Rover unit derived from an american cast off engine that was left in a shed at the bottom of the garden belonging to a Buick engineer. Rover bought the right's to make it in the 60's I think?
i would advise you to find out wat you are talking about first ford have made the range rover a lot beter bmw only brought land rover for their technology and the sold it to ford and the 4.4 was not as good a engine as de 3.8 tdv8 from for and i would no i still own both models
An L322 range rover weighs nearly 4 tons, the bmw 4.4 V8 is a torquey engine and for what it is, it's bloody quick for a vehicle of that weight. I much prefer it over the new jaguar engined range rovers.
It weigh's just under 3 ton's. The Jaguar engined Range Rover's and Discovery are miles better. I have an 03 Vogue and will change to a later one in due course!
Damn, there's Neo Nazis on youtube... look at that... and he thinks he's cool.

Your wrong I have an 05 Range rover and it does have the 4.4 litre Bmw Engine. In 06 they were bought out by ford then sold to TATA Motors in Late 07

so did the quality of the range rover get better or worse from the differint owners

No, when this product was launched they were owned by Ford; look it up.

ther's a reason why the engine sounds so good....its because its a BMW engine ;)

@bigfattutti who cares.Range is a lot better suv than x5 and the new 5.0 engine will rape you german ass.
