Hogan doesn't give a totally accurate explanation. His instruction is never dead accurate. Same for 5 Lessons. However, his full swing demonstrates truthfully.
Great player!! Great Tip. Here are my secrets to golf thanks to Homer.
1. Learn to lag load the shaft at the top of the backswing (Hogan was the best)
2. SUSTAIN that lag pressure. Do NOT throw it away as MOST do.
3.Shift weight to your left then
4.Make your right elbow touch your right hip and continue turning
5.NEVER throw away that lag pressure. SUSTAIN it all the way into your finish
SUSTAIN the lag folks!!! Practice in slow motion. Study "The Golfing Machine" if you are serious about golf
