dobn't get ylour panties in too muchof a twist - rivers has nearly reeleased all of SFTBH on his alone albums, and possibly has more to come on 'odds and ends' this year. and as for the matt album, i had the awesome luck to meet matt at a london living room show and asked him about it, and he just shrugged as if to say nothing really came of their collaboration. i trust matt's judgement not to release something if he's not psyched about it. rivers, on the other hand...

Alot of People are put off by Rivers stage presence. He is really shy.

Thats always kinda been the Dynamic Between Rivers and Matt.... Rivers kinda stares off into space and Matt talks, however Matts demeanor is alot more down to earth than he used to be......

Matts a much more contemplative and reflective guy now than he was in 94-95

i totally get that vibe too...its like, matts some anoying girlfriend that dosent want to move on...always saying "well we could still be friends right" and you know you shouldnt say yes..but you do...and then a week later shes all like hay lets get back together...." matts cool in the rentals..but was a dick in weezer..at least thats what riveredge suggests...

Well Rivers was a shy guy, but I've read a lot about this incident and there was a lot of mutual healing between the two of them. There's some very interesting stuff in "Rivers' Edge" about this incident. Furthermore, Rivers asked matt if he wanted to renjoin weezer around this time. Then he said to matt "Well you should write pop again then" and matt went onto reform the rentals.

Finally, Matt was at Rivers' wedding.
