@dragonloverxxl34 I think it's more of they MIGHT have the plague. Remember at the beginning of the movie, the dead dog that had the weird patches on it? I might be wrong, but I think he died of the plague. I've also heard that they knocked down a container of the plague, but I'm not sure if that's in the book.

Skulls don't heal like that. The crack goes all the way down to the bone, and it looks like (since hair didn't grow back) the tissue layer was destroyed. Nothing left to make a scab.

I watched the cut version, and I didn't immediately make the connection between the phone call during the interview and the dogs' actions. It doesn't make it clear that the body was found, and that's what the call is about.

At first I thought it went a bit too far; then, I remembered the sheep. They could have done without the cliche "zoom in quickly on a shocking and/or disturbing image," though. Had it become cliche by 1982? Yeah, it probably had.

Actually, most (actually pretty much all) of the experiments come back inconclusive and they keep the animals in such horrible conditions that the tests are tainted in the first place. While some animals are quite similar in DNA to humans, they're not going to have 100% the same effects from the experiments as we would. Honestly, it's completely unecessary because we're not going to learn anything useful. A waste of money and good animals that could be companions.

The closeup of the bodys not so bad i thought it would be horrible. it's irronic really the people torture the dogs till there nearly dead and when the man dies the dogs eat him. When the Tod scares that guy off the cliff, the makers perminantly cut out a part in the movie, when the guy falls Snitter, Rowf & the Tod actually eat the guy.
