How could this not win? What a joke, Swedish people asked him every year to participate in Melodifestivalen and the year he finally does it, they dont vote him the winner. This is a fine example of why Sweden don't know anything.. This WAS the best song in MF that year. Darin, I understand now why you didnt participate all those years, you are too good for this.
Melodifestivalen has always high quality singers & songs, I enjoy it each year from Japan by DVD. This year, the winner song is nice, but a little bit out of the type song for the competition in Eurovision. Every 10 final songs are atractive though.
BUT! I am sure this Darin's song is the ONLY ONE to reach final and even to jump into Top 10, Top 5 in Eurovision. This song has elegant beautiful melody & powerful, and by his singing super performance!!
This song can kick butts in the Eurovision but since this is a competition we can't predict who will going to win or not..it's more like a turn of event that you are- destined- to. be! the winner or the loser..

The fact that we don't know whar European wants should make Eurovision more interesting putting an end to the dreadful many weeks before predicted winner cuz that stole away all the magic of the show. The winner was known ... just confirmed with the votes. Now with 2010 being mixed up with more than terrible songs and splending ballads/slow songs well crafted with no "on the spot" song then I guess that anyone can win depending on what juries and televote will reveal.
Plus: one thing is certain 39 songs can't win at the same time just to please everybody who trully believe that their own favourite has to win because it has to win because ... whatever! Personal taste is one thing but wanting one song to win just because one likes it and that's it makes this competition silly ... I blame it on the televoting (which also brought the diaspora and neigbouring voting to the level of shameful) still everybody complains with juries. Hey people wise up ...
@McFlyArsenal7; It has always been so in Swe that those who ends up second in Idol are the most succesful. Last year Idol-Agnes came 4th in the Mellodyfestival and a few month later she was on the top of the list in USA.

For the same reasons I ask Poland why did u go for such a dreadful song called Legenda sung by an untalent singer?
Each country votes on the song they like the most and Sweden is one of the few countries that does not make it based on wanting to win ESC desperatly ... it's their music first and foremost regardless the eurovision result they will always love it in their homeland. I wish certain countries had the same spirit too. U wanted Legenda they wanted Anna ... I'm sorry that's life!
