Totally wrong. I'm mixed black & white. I have 2 college diplomas and 7 technology certificates and I own a computer consulting/solutions company. I dress business casual don't blast my music(which is not gansta rap). I do however wear a wide variety of hats on my own time(ball caps, fedoras, and others) yet I still get stoped.
I have never had anything more than a stock radio and speaker in my car. I learned quickly that I couldn't drive around with three males in a car because we would get pulled over. Hell I would not even wear a ball cap when I drove or even smoke a cigarette. I still got pulled over time and time and time again.. I was that normal black coming home from work. The only description I could say I fit was my own young and black.

Totally wrong. I'm mixed black & white. I have 2 college diplomas and 7 technology certificates and I own a computer consulting/solutions company. I dress business casual don't blast my music(which is not gansta rap). I do however wear a wide variety of hats on my own time(ball caps, fedoras, and others) yet I still get stoped.

I have never had anything more than a stock radio and speaker in my car. I learned quickly that I couldn't drive around with three males in a car because we would get pulled over. Hell I would not even wear a ball cap when I drove or even smoke a cigarette. I still got pulled over time and time and time again.. I was that normal black coming home from work. The only description I could say I fit was my own young and black.

White people who are driving in rural N-hoods get pulled over for the simple fact that the police thinks they are only there to pick up drugs!lol If a white male is parked in a city sidewalk they r likely to get stop, for the simple fact of suspicious to picking up prostitutes! Yeah, cuz a van full of Arab guys taking pics of a bridge is the same as a cop pulling a black guy over because his "license plate is loose." Really? And this doesn't happen to white people. I'm white and I've driven through many "hoods" if that's what you want to call them... seriously, east L.A., Oakland, north Portland... I lived in west Seattle near White Center and never got pulled over for being in a predominantly black neighborhood. Black people don't have the same privileges as we do.

No they shouldn't wait for it, but that doesn't justify racial profiling. They should stop people who are doing SHADY things, regardless of their race. Do you really think it's okay for a cop to pull a guy over only because he is black and then make up some BS story about his license plate? I know you don't think it is a big deal, but if you had been pulled over once or twice solely because of your race when you weren't doing anything wrong, trust me it would matter to you.

Yeah, profiling can go both ways but white people are profiled for odd behavior or something, not for being in a different neighborhood. When some cops say they don't use it, they actually don't cuz they AREN'T racist. And you say you don't care what happens in the hood, but that is the problem. No one gives a shit about the hood so the people get sucked into the routine of shady behavior because they know society has already cast them aside. When no one cares about you, what do you care about?

Cops pull me over too its just that I pay my tickets and my registration and insurance. If you dont want questions to move "to another level and another level" play by the rules its not that hard.
