  • Awesome sound!

  • what a lovely sound.

  • Hey, I think those is world most Fastest turboprop? I don't know if its right or not.. I forget about that.

  • @strassj The Socata TBM 850 has the current record for the fastest single turboprop aircraft. The Pilatus PC-12 is close 2nd or 3rd. Not sure where the Cessna Caravan fits.

  • @acuchemkid2007 Thanks! Now I know which one is Fastest aircraft on single turboprop.

  • @acuchemkid2007

the caravan is a lot slower.

  • @acuchemkid2007 Caravan is pretty slow in comparison. It's more or less a cargo carrier, or jump plane for skydivers, or sight seeing plane which isn't designed a whole lot for speed. I dont know many commercial operations that use Caravans as their primary plane of choice, besides Air Choice One.

  • @EatMyPropwash The caravan is less expensive to operate and maintain and is used by a ton of small airlines and around the world.

  • @2204Alpha Thanks for stating the obvious.

  • You can't expect Cessnawings to know anything about real aircraft...he's a redneck Cessna fan! Gotta love the sound of those PT6s though...miss flying on the PC12s

  • @CANADIANYETI Yeah well some of us rednecks fly too. And just so ya know in my opinion the ONLY real plane that spins a blade is a Pilatus! Not a prop type flyer anyway. Citation jets.

  • lol a thats what a turbo prop is a jet engine with a prop

  • Turbo my ass! thats a Jet with a Prop.

  • In Wiener Neustadt LOAN Austria registration OE-EMC

  • is there a jet engine inside?

  • Yes, that's why it is a turboprop. :-)

  • You have no idea what you are talking about.

  • lol dumbass, actually its ok u didnt know!

  • Yeah. Actually it is but the the Jet exhaust is what spins the Prop.

  • @cessnawings67

I think you should learn the proper terms for what you are talking about before you try to define it's function.

  • @SoCalFlya Ok here it is then. It is a dam JET ENGINE. The exhaust is what spins that prop. How much more "proper" and easily could you explain it. I think you need to plain old "think" before you post a response to my comment. So tell us all then mr proper how do you define those functions?

  • @SoCalFlya Sorry I forgot just how many of you "proper professionals" there are out there. Your a legend in your own dam mind. Aint it nice how people can be ANYTHING in the world behind a monitor and with a Keyboard?????? You dont like how I comment change the fkn channel.

  • @jackerd12 pretty much there is a jet that is inside and the exhaust turns a shaft that is attached to the propeller makeing it a turbo prop

  • @jackerd12 yep, the names bascially short for Turbo Propeller.

  • @jackerd12 No...there is a tiny caged monkey that runs really fast. The monkey is powered by crack cocaine. When the pilot advances the throttles, the monkey gets more crack, and therefore runs faster.

  • I am fortuante enough to be flown about in the Pilatus PC - 12 for work ( an organ recovery team in the field of organ donation/transplant) and have come to love and respect the Pilatus. Just hearing that sound of the engine and the prop spinning....wow..........that is awesome!!! Amazing craft.

  • Gotta Love that sound~!
