eBay just kicked me down the stairs like a rusty old bucket. I called the customer support line and they said there is no way to appeal this case due to low DSR's last 12 months. I have a feedback rating over 98%. I shipped hundreds of items every month. I had a storage unit to support the operation and a few employees. They out of the blue suspended me and said its because of low dsr's no other reason. screw eBay and this cold-blood moronic feedback system.. I had a good business.

Thats why I don't sell on ebay, I sell on a blogshop, but I do buy on ebay a LOT. I've only left bad feedback for 1 person who was a scammer who didnt send me anything. No matter what kind of buisiness you run, you'll always have people saying bad things about you , be it feedback or word of mouth, it sucks. I'm guessing you know already that alot of buyers will leave negative feedback just to try to get a refund or something for free in exchange for removing it.....

I think they should not give them that option till ebay system recognize that the buyer has contacted the seller to resolve issues. My situation now is . .. I sold an item. got paid...2.5 weeks later. ..buyer leaves negative feedback saying it's no good and tell buyers not to waste their money. my listing policy is "7 day exchange." buyer didn't contact me at all.

Let's face it... In order to keep bad sellers in check, ebay has taken away most of the rights of the sellers. A good transaction is dependent on both the seller AND the buyer. A seller can also encounter bad buyer. But there is little the seller can do. Non-paying buyers get a "toothless lion" strike from ebay, and that's about it. The seller has to be liable for the buyers' mistakes, or, they'll get a neg F/B. Ebay's battle cry should be: "At ebay, we're not happy, until YOU'RE not happy"

The reason why I think your ratings go down because you give the same feedback as the buyer. Boohooo..!!, the problem is that negative feedback truly hurts sellers more than buyers, most sellers have thoudands of feedbacks, 1 neg wont even scratch the top, however a buyer who has 10-20feedbacks will be hurt severely, with many percentage points moving the opposite way.

I have bought many items on Ebay for over a year of using it, and I have gotten stuck with 4 bad sellers, who didnt care about offering me top of the line service, and even lying about when they actually shipped out the item. They would take over 72 hours, in some cases over 5 days, or they would even ignore your e-mails. It's everywhere now. I gave up on ebay already and concentrated on Amazon only. However, I was recently repeatedly scammed on Amazon, by people who got the items but then threatened with bad feedback. Amazon crucified me and froze my earnings - currently about $600. 3 months later and there's no sign of my money. 500 Positives, 2 negatives, that was enough to get my account suspended! Try posting listings though ebay's turbolister in bulk with your messages to the buyers. If everyone does this it will be impossible to stop. put at least 100 listings of actual "HOT" items in the titles so buyers can find them easlily. THIS WILL WORK. Don't leave feedback at all, make the system obsolete. My ebay account was set up to automatically reciporcate positive feedback. I changed it and now I leave ZERO feedback. If a buyer emails me asking for feedback I cut & paste a generic message explaining why I no longer leave feedback. I've had to responses to my generic note and both were positive and wished me luck. So please once again to ALL SELLERS, STOP LEAVING FEEDBACK, PERIOD. Thanks for the vid Joe keep us up to date.

Second idea:If you kept the messages left when you have made a sale,the email adress of the buyer is there.

Leave them a message promoting your new site !

I have followed a HIGHLY successful seller (over 7000 Feedbacks).He is no longer registered on Ebay,BUT I found him on Google.I hope those ideas will be helpful.Don't lose your spirit,Ebay is now synonymous of Big Brother,ugly Big Brother.Let's move on and try to personnally grow from that nasty attitude !

What a CROCK!!! Ebay has lost it's collective "Controlled" mind. I've had it, 100% went to 99.5 because of 3 Neutral comments from the usual crazies. I could just pull my hair out. I agree Joe it's the end for a lot us and most definitely the END FOR EBAY. And the people that sign on thinking that they will "make a killing" because so many people are leaving will be in for a Big and Very Expensive surprise. They will also fall prey to Ebay's SCAM JOB in 30 seconds or sooner. OMG what a RIP!

Try posting listings though ebay's turbolister in bulk with your messages to the buyers. If everyone does this it will be impossible to stop. put at least 100 listings of actual "HOT" items in the titles so buyers can find them easlily. THIS WILL WORK. Just make a throw away account and get ebay's turbolister and start listing. I think there should even a a planned 1 day event for this so it all happens at once and everything crashes! I think this is a brilliant and devious plan.

When you win the unpaid item dispute the rating goes away although the comment doesn't. But you are right the new feedback system even blows more with neutrals essentially being negatives.

Here's one you havent heard of Joe. I just started a new account about 2 months ago with 100% feedback. Then i received a nutral from a buyer. Before the changes I was at 100% now im only at 97.1 FOR ONLY 1 NEUTRAL after the changes took effect!!! This is not BS.This is insane!

Great video. I am a seller & HAVE STOPPED LEAVING FEEDBACK, FULL STOP. Then when I get a NEG (I got 3 today) I have to leave a positive that starts with NEGATIVE NEGATIVE NEGATIVE and then goes on to mention Efacism & Enazis. Keep up the good work. SELLERS UNITE!
