  • Here here, snobs through and through warner, allen and the rest of the amatuer brigade. Not fit fit to lace Harolds boots. Jardine was a man of means, but was strong and straight and a great captain.

  • Fitting song. Lol was much more than Bodyline, he was argueably the greatest fastest bowler that ever live, with the most beautiful action.

  • The man without whom there would have been no Bodyline. His speed and accuracy were terrifying, an irreplacable tool for Jardine. I saw him being interviewed by Freddie Truman when a very old man, then living in Oz. Truman asked, "Did you ever say you were sorry?" "No, I'm not!" replied a shocked Larwood. "Sorry? What for? Did you ever say sorry to all them fellas you done?" Trueman, somewaht chastened, "No, I didn't." To which Larwood said, ending that part of the conversation, "No."

  • @madmax8903 The song says it all. Why should the soldier say sorry for firing the shot?...In England, Larwood copped the blame and consequences of Bodyline. In Australia, we knew Jardine was the real prick.

  • @mcnesta80 Jardine and Larwood were REAL men the pricks were Warner, Gubby Allen and Wyatt. Spineless bastards.
