  • As much as I loved the 2008 Horton movie, I knda see your point.

  • is this reaction suppose to be good

  • @jelliclecatgirl Depends on what you mean by "good". If you mean "Is this the reaction we're suppose to have?", than yes. If you mean "Does this reaction mean you thought the ending was good?", than no.

  • They cut out the part of Jojo singing??? RIP OFF

  • LOL I love how scrat ran

  • I've just seen Horton Hears A Who for the first time ever and it was pretty good! Especially with Seth Rogen, Jim Carrey, and Steve Corral!

  • @goldblaze93 I'll admit it had some good elements in it (I especially liked the animation and the Seuss-like design of the world), but if you were to ask me, I'd probably pick the Chuck Jones version over this.

  • @AlbinoTanuki Chuck Jones? Who's that?

  • @goldblaze93 He was a famous cartoonist who helped do a lot of the Looney Tunes cartoons.

  • @AlbinoTanuki I looked him up yesterday and I now know. He did the narrating for the Grinch, didn't he?

  • @goldblaze93 Actually, no. Boris Karloff (played Frankenstein in the movies) narrates the cartoon.

  • @AlbinoTanuki Okay, then. Thanks again for the info! :D

  • Albino, I agree with you, but.. dont feed the troll :P

  • Um...I LIKED that song... :/

  • @PikachuColoredPichu1 Say what you want about the song, I personally don't feel it belongs in a movie based on a Dr. Seuss book that has a moral to it; it just feels awkward to me.

  • @AlbinoTanuki This is a 2008 movie, I never grew up in the '40s.

  • @PikachuColoredPichu1 Neither did I, but that doesn't mean I can't feel that the song doesn't fit in a movie that's suppose to preach a universal moral about humanity. I mean, Schindler's List wouldn't work if at the end of the movie everyone started singing "In A Gadda Da Vida" by Iron Butterfly, would it?

  • @AlbinoTanuki ...what's Schindler's List? Is that a sandwich?

  • @PikachuColoredPichu1 Its a Steven Spieldberg movie about the Holocaust.

  • @AlbinoTanuki holo-what?

  • @PikachuColoredPichu1 The genocide of Jewish people in Europe when the Nazis took over.

  • @AlbinoTanuki can you 2 STOP FREAKIN ARGUING!?!?!?

  • @AlbinoTanuki it's about as awkward as the breakdance in Alice in Wonderland

  • hahahhaahhaha!!

  • I like the ending....

  • Coincidentally, this was my reaction as well.

  • The cartoon was better- done [I think] by Chuck Jones.

  • That's what I thought too.

  • lol Horton is awesome

  • Comment removed

  • Yeah, I admit its stupid, but than again, the movie was stupid too (btw, I wouldn't use the word "gay" for this, its a bit insulting to some people).

  • Sorry albino...that was an 8 year old that posted the "g" word...innappropriate for sure. Our apologies

  • Okay, I understand, and I don't hate the word "gay" in general, I just don't ike it when its used in the context of "something stupid", since a lot of people like to think that way about actual gay people.

  • LOL

  • LOL HAHAAH

  • Lol!!!!!!!!!!!!! i never seen horton hears a who but it sounds a little bit weird lol.

  • yeah me too

  • That's exactly how I reacted to the entire movie!

  • What? Oo;;

  • I showed this video to a coworker as it were and he was laughing his head off.

  • Glas to hear.

  • I haven't seen the movie, but yes, this clip is definitely cringe-worthy.

  • I gotta say I agree with you all the way. If I had it my way, Horton would have been more like the Chuck Jones version (and maybe 2-D too)

  • Well I thought they did a pretty good job with the animation, but I wish Horton didn't have to be such a wise-ass; I couldn't tell if he was saving the clover to save the whos or for his own egotistic pleasure.

  • Yeah, Jim Carrey would NOT have been my first choice for Horton. He just didn't seem to have the same big heart as Seuss gave him in the books. When he was supposed to be serious, he sounded sarcastic. And the ending song was ok, but did they really have to try to emulate Dreamworks?

  • Yeah. I would understand it if they were trying to emulate PIXAR, but Dreamworks? They're not the best when it comes to compelling movies.

  • Yeah, I mean the only Dreamworks movies I'd consider to be compelling are The Prince of Egypt (which not a lot of people know exist) and the first Shrek (just the first, the sequels kinda messed it up) Everybody wants to be like Pixar, and most of the time, they fall short.

  • finally, someone who feels the same way about Horton. :)

  • HAHAHA! Nice.
