i had this phone for 2 years and it was brilliant and i found it very fast to use and fufilled everything i wanted at the time. The touch screen isn't sensitive or reliable enough. I wouldn't get it now because there are a lot better alternatives.

I had the jet for 2 years, and it just died a few days ago. Runs Average for the first year, then it starts fucking up. calling people at random, will randomly start opening applications, sometimes it wont turn on and you gotta fuck around with the battery, and the earphone port is really bad, sometimes plays really quite music, sometimes only comes thru one earphone, sometimes no music at all.

DON'T buy this phone, it's total crap. don't fall for fancy ads and reviews. stay away from it so you won't get disappointed as I am. I have this phone now for a few weeks and I curse the day I bought it.

GPS does not work properly. Camera does not work properly. Phone's OS is glitchy. The is almost NO apps, no games etc for it.

Sony Ericsson Xperia , the samsung is rubbish i have had the jet for around a year now and i really don't like it, the touchscreen is rubbish and loading things takes ages (this is just my experience, something may be wrong with my device but anyway i would get the Xperia :D )

The Samsung Jet supports Flash but not for videos like in the video. Only the mobile Youtube version works with the jet

This phone is crap. There are almost no apps available because of its OS. When you slide through your photos, the screen does not react immediately, horrible. Additionaly, when I unboxed the phone, it had serious technical issues such as defect speaker and GPS which they could fix after the third service!!! I sent a complaint letter, Samsung never replied. The phone is bad, Samsung's Technical Service and Customer Care is bad, everythins is just bad that is in any relation to this phone.

I've had this phone for about 18 months now and I've got to say I got bored of it quickly. It doesn't really have that many fun widgets/apps but to be fair the camera is nice, the screen is amazing and the music player is decent. I don't have room for much comparison but I would say the internet browsing on it is meh.

@budfr it's a good phone with a few niggles, but tbh all phones have problems, and you should be able to buy this phone pretty cheap. youtube videos are fine but navigating to them can be awkward, the ipod touch does it better but this phone can do it
