@TheProximateAmount Yes but don't give them bread as "food", only as candy sometimes, otherwise they'll gain too much weight and it will be unhealthy for them. They should have a good seed mixture as daily food.
It depends on how tame they are, you have to work with them a lot when they are small. But its different gerbil to gerbil, our Aguoti pied in this video jumps down from the sofa all the time now =) but not the other ones.
@alyssatd The best way is hold them a certain way I may post a video for you and if your need any tips you can ask me! I have had my gerbils for 11 months and they are almost perfectly tame. How old were your gerbils when you got them? If they were a few months it will be hard to tame them. But if they were young like my gerbils they will tame easily. Babies that are four weeks old are the youngest you will get and will tame the easiest. I'm out of characters.....................................
