@khesed There's tons of neat mythology within La-Mulana, you can google a lot of names and references and probably link it to mythology or history in some way. It's one of the things that makes La-Mulana such a unique game.
@MegaUltraJMan i wish there were more games like this (especially its original form), but we're spoiled with COD's "let's heal you to 100% even though you took 18 gut shots during the game" -and other games guilty of this, not just COD- difficulty level. Even "Game Which Shall Not Be Named Forever Other Than It Sucks Forever" isn't the same without the classic HUD and healing. We need difficult games that ENCOURAGE using search engines to find what things mean.
One question: how much damage does Viy's big laser do? That's in case I feel like playing the original version.

@gunpsycho Way too much. As in ~2/5'ths-1/2'th of a full health bar if you had all the life jewels. This is in the original version, by the way.

@orreso I was initially thinking standard, but the more I think about it 100% seems much more ideal for showing off what makes the game so great.
