@skadoosh530 It is not illegal to make back-up copies of DVD's, which you have legally obtained, for personal use, such as a digital download which is included with many movies today. What IS illegal is giving the back-up copy to someone else, such as through a file sharing network. Burning your copy of "Tron" for example, and putting it on a DVD disc and giving it to your little brother to watch is not illegal. Selling the back-up or sharing through a file-share network, however IS ILLEGAL.

I have used DVD decrypter, ANY DVD, DVD FAB, Magic DVD, and countless others. all are great, but all have the same problem NONE of them can rip movies that were released in late 2008 to present. A great example would be Batman: The Dark Knight. I don't of anyone who has been able to rip that. If someone know better please help me.

Have you used DVD43 and DVD shrink?? I'm trying to copy Christmas Time in south park it's somewhere between 2007 - 2009. I've tried those 2 programs but neither will work! Just wondering if you have found a break though?

@hantuafiq2 Thanks for your replay but, as you can see, that post was a year ago. I have long moved on to BLU RAY now. Just so you'll know, I tried "handbrake", that didn't work either. I have since discovered "DVD FAB, ANYDVD, and IDEAL DVD COPY". Now that I collect HD movies, I use "Clown BD, TS Muxer, and MKV Tool Nix". But, again, thanks for your response.

@dvdfabber Aww, man. Thanks for the tip, but that was 2 years ago. I have long solved that problem. I no longer use the DVD format. I am all Blu-Ray now. I use TS muxer to demux M2TS. Then I use MKVtoolnix to remux into MKV.
