I find it so annoying when spiders stand still for ages when there doing something. Its like they have to go though a process of what there going to do every time there performing a task its very frustrating cause you don't know if there thinking about it or they have just given up

hello i just got one of these i think there amazing. mine is about 1.5-2.0 inc leg span. been told it femail. any way she has the same bald patch in the same place. is it because of hair flicking?

yeah...I know what you mean cause I was trying catch my cambridgei doing exactly what your striata did and I wanted to catch my a.avicularia building her nest too but spiders usually do it at night so it's hard thing to catch
