I'm most confused about carbs. I get a great pump when on high carbs, but seem flat without them. I eat lots of protein 5 times a day, so what is the best amount of carbs to eat for a 185 pound male 6'1 trying to gain some size but still be relatively lean? Thanks
i eat about 300 grams a day. You have to experiment to see what amount is best for your body to keep building lean muscle and not getting fat. It's a slow process but you STAY that way once you attain it. Eat most in the first half of the day so they are burned up each day and not stored as fat.

I only use pure whey isolate. It has the highest bioavailability of any protein. It's worth it. Take a mixed protein powder shake before you go to bed as it will take longer to break down and keep you positive nitrogen balance.
